Before THE PRINTED EVENT, I was in the classroom as a music teacher for 10 years while also growing a side business on my own for 10 years. Soon after my teaching career began, I was longing for something more. I was feeling more fulfilled in my small business than I was as a teacher and that the entrepreneur life was my calling. Then, the opportunity to partner with my sister presented itself, and I jumped at it! When you combine my background in sales and creative ideas with my sister's organization and experience in this industry, along having the resources of our family owning a printing company, it is the perfect combination! We love what we do and are excited to help as many couples as we can!

I have been married to my college sweetheart since 2014. We have a 4-year-old son, Grayson, and another boy arriving in December.

I have a passion for supporting the growth of small businesses so together, we may have a greater positive influence on the local community. Primarily, I focus on:

1. Connecting with the couple to create trusted and responsive professional relationships. I like to get to know the client, as well as learning about their story, in order to tailor our services and find best matches for products.

2. Utilizing my acquired skillset and industry knowledge to advise on the best print & promotional products to fit a couple's needs.

I am skilled in Brand Development & Management, E-Commerce, Digital & Traditional Marketing Strategy, Targeted Research & Fulfillment of Print and Promotional Products, and Business Development.

My professional background includes 10+ years in the wholesale and retail print & promotional industries.

I also enjoy networking with other female entrepreneurs and having discussions around the topics of entrepreneurship, women in business and the dynamics of being a working mother.

I am usually accompanied by my mini me (Peyton, age 6). I enjoy leading an active, holistic lifestyle, reading, and visiting Lake Michigan!

I’m a proud Michigan native, born and raised in Traverse City. I grew up loving all the gifts that this state has to offer and I will gladly talk your ear off about the best places to visit Up North. After graduating from Western Michigan University, I spent over a decade in another place I love- Chicago, Illinois where I was a performer and a distributor of fine wine and spirits. After meeting my husband and having our daughter we decided to move back to the state we adored.

Prior to moving back to the Mitten, I did a career pivot and went from sales to marketing, furthering my education by attending Grand Valley State University and received my certification in Digital Marketing Science.

I’m thrilled to be working for a company that specializes in helping other businesses succeed, and I look forward to working with various companies, individuals and organizations to help build their digital marketing presences and push them closer to their own goals.
