My husband and I were enchanted with our experience of holding our wedding at Millsite Lodge. What appealed to us most is that we were able to stay on the property two nights, and extend our experience with our closest friends and family. Ranae, Beth, and Jewel made the process of planning so easy, they answered every question thoughtfully and promptly. I was particularly motivated to book with them because of the decor package they offer. I do not live nearby, and I was concerned about how I would transport all the decorations, and have enough time to set everything up while I was supposed to be getting ready. The decor package took care of all of this. Devin did a marvelous job, I was OBSESSED with the table decor he put together for me. You will have zero worries day of if you book with Millsite. They are a TREMENDOUS help the day of your event, and you can focus on just being the bride. Another favorite of ours was having a send off brunch with our parents and bridal party on Sunday. It was the perfect way to end our special time together there.

We were married in May and the grounds were absolutely BEAUTIFUL with the spring flowers in full bloom. Our parents and bridal party stayed onsite which was perfect for everyone to be together and get ready the morning of the wedding. Ranae, Carla, and the entire Millsite staff took care of every detail; we didn’t have to worry about a thing! Their communication, professionalism, and attention to detail were second to none - all the way down to making sure we had a plate of snacks to enjoy while taking pictures before cocktail hour. We very much enjoyed working with Ranae and the staff throughout all of the planning. The whole weekend was perfect and we could relive our wedding day over and over again!

Getting married at Millsite was a dream. As a type B bride, planning a wedding was something I did not look forward to. But let me tell you, they handled so many details with precision, care and thoughtfulness. They caught so many details I didn't even think of. I sent countless late-night emails with such scattered questions and concerns, and they met every single one of them with thorough and helpful answers almost immediately after I sent them. The communication and service and truly superb. As far as the wedding day went, it was a dream and the millsite staff worked tirelessly so I could have my outdoor wedding in the midst of a rainy day. They wiped the chairs down and made adjustments without me even knowing it to ensure that everything would be seamless. I truly couldn't ask for a better team of people to make my day go so smoothly then the staff at Millsite. As far as the actual venue goes, it is gorgeous and so many people raved about what a hidden treasure it was. The decor was so timeless and beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The food was phenomenal. I still have people coming up to me telling me that my wedding food was the best wedding food they have ever had and I 100% agree. I could not ask for a better experience and am so thankful we chose to celebrate our big day at Millsite!

I will never forget how beautiful the set up was and how happy I was with the result of everything. The venue catering was amazing, everyone loved the food. We wanted simple but elegant and that’s exactly what we got. I will always recommend The Millsite Lodge to anyone who needs to throw a small party or wedding. My husband and I look back at our wedding videos and pictures so much we pretty much relive the day everyday.

We had our October 8, 2022 at Millsite Lodge and could not have imagined a more perfect weekend! Ranae and the Millsite team was available for every question and every detail to make sure our wedding day was a success. The grounds are gorgeous, especially in the fall, and our guests felt right at home in the on-site accommodations. Our wedding guests are still raving about the food, catered by The Colonnade. The cupcakes were a crowd favorite! If we could relive our wedding weekend at Millsite Lodge over and over again, we would!

We had our ceremony at their covered patio and it was perfect! The staff truly cares about making your wedding vision come to life.
The decorations were exactly what I was hoping, the staff was incredible, the location is gorgeous! Once you give your details to Ranae and the staff, you know your wedding is in good hands and wedding planning becomes so easy and stress free. They really are experts at making a wedding day perfect. Our out of town guests were able to stay in the multiple rooms they have right on property too!

This venue is remarkable! There is a team of 4 sisters and their respective families that run the show and the responsiveness was incredible. The wedding party and our family spent the entire weekend on this beautiful property. Millsite did the rehearsal on Friday evening, the reception on Saturday, and a lovely brunch on Sunday. The food was amazing. Beautiful set up, creative appetizers, excellent service and delicious entrees! We had a sitdown dinner for 160 people and they were amazing! The accommodations are spotless and so comfortable. There is a spacious bridal suite and groomsmen "den" that the entire bridal party made use of. The outdoor patios and grounds are so beautiful and there is so much to explore that honestly the weekend is not even enough time. This is a hidden gem!

The Millsite Lodge is a hidden gem for sure! We were fortunate to be guests of a wedding family, and stayed in one of the Stable rooms for three nights. The relaxing, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful setting did not disappoint. There are so many activities to enjoy inside and outside, pure relaxation, to playing board games, pool, corn hole, riding bikes, walking, fishing, and more! Then…all the wedding festivities! The rehearsal dinner was just outside our room, as was the wedding day breakfast. Such a wonderful atmosphere! Everything from the food to the set up was superb. Ranae and Dan did not miss a beat when making sure all guests were well taken care of. All the events (including the wedding reception) were extremely organized and beautifully arranged/decorated. We had time to hang around the property and enjoyed chatting with Ranae and Dan. They certainly made us feel welcome, just as though we were family. Most of the wedding party stayed onsite for a couple days/nights. Amazingly, you would not know there’s that much space to accommodate everyone, as each building is tucked away amidst all the trees, and there’s plenty of room for everyone to roam. This family certainly takes the stress out of what can sometimes be a stressful event. Side note….ten years ago, our daughter had her wedding reception at The Colonnade in Milan, Ohio. Ranae’s sister, Beth, was our event manager. Beth took care of us, helping us with so many decisions, and guiding us through this important event in our lives. This family sure knows how to plan your events covering every detail, and putting clients at ease along the way. The reception was absolutely perfect! In closing, please know whatever venue you select for your event, this family will take great care of you throughout the process. They are gems inside these hidden gems!

We stumbled upon The Oak while looking for a venue in a shorter than normal period of time. Not only is this property so picturesque, with the GORGEOUS Grand Oak, the pond, stream and barn, but Jewel Young and family were phenomenal in making our son and daughter in law's dreams come true! There isn't anything they aren't willing to help with. They kept in constant contact and worked diligently to make the vision come to life. Honestly just the nicest people on the planet! We are so thrilled with how beautiful the day turned out! Our friends and family are still commenting on how perfect it was!

My husband and I went back and forth on whether or not we wanted to have a traditional wedding for a long time because of the “stress” that comes with it. If you’re feeling the same way, BOOK THE OAK! It is a complete stress free experience. Jewel and Beth were so great to work with, they truly care about making it a special experience for you. Our wedding day was complete magic. The property is breathtakingly gorgeous, from the bridal suite, to the oak tree, to the barn.. there is not a square inch that isn’t just gorgeous. Our guests are still talking about how pretty everything was. Our wedding coordinator, Jewel, was so very attentive. She made sure guests were escorted to their seats, especially the elderly. She made sure we didn’t have to lift a finger, so that we could actually enjoy the day! They took care of the decor, the clean up, everything! Jewel even returned borrowed supplies from other vendors for me, without asking! We were finally able to have the wedding of our dreams! Thank you to the whole team!
