My mother hosted our engagement party at her house in Los Angeles last year and contracted the Paella Project. Adriana, the Head Chef, who studied the art of paella in Spain, came with her giant pans and cooked an authentic and absolutely delicious paella for over 50 people in my mom's back yard, with flaming coals and all! We were so happy with the food and service that we decided to have the Paella Project cater our wedding at the Natural History Museum, this time for almost 200 people. All I have to say, is that our friends and family are still raving about how exquisitely delicious the food was. We had the food served in paella pans at the table family style. Everyone complimented us on what a unique and fun dining experience it was. For desert, Adriana and her partner Jonathan Bailey made the most delicious salted caramel chocolate cake and as a surprise, at the end of the night, they whipped up churros that they passed around in paella trays. I can't rave enough about how happy we were with the food, the presentation, the service (an amazing staff of servers) and how patient, generous, and fantastic these caterers are!
