The Mountain Rose Inn is a charming countryside wedding venue located in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Once known as the Alexee House, the property was acquired by Kasey Richards in 2018 who reopened the venue as The Mountain Rose Inn. The inn is dutifully taken care of by the grounds manager, Ryan Harrison, and together, he and Kasey present an idyllic mountainside event space for your big day. Your event will be remembered as an enchanting forest fairy tale, surrounded by mature trees, lush foliage, and spectacular skylines.

The picturesque grounds offer a variety of options for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. With a capacity of 165 guests, you have your selection of an outdoor courtyard space, a tented ballroom space, or the inn itself for your occasion. Couples can exchange their vows set to a captivating backdrop of wooded meadows and endless skies. The courtyard has ample room for you and your attendees to enjoy delicious cocktails, appreciating the surrounding views as they sip on custom drinks. The tented ballroom boasts satin drapery and gorgeous chandeliers, inspiring an elegant and refined atmosphere for your reception. Every event space can be customized to suit your needs and requirements, allowing you to make the most of your time at the inn.

Beautiful New England Venue

We got married here on 10/14/22 and it was absolutely perfect. It was peak foliage in the area so the view was breathtaking and caused for so many beautiful pictures. We received so many compliments on how great everything looked. One of the best parts was because of the beautiful backdrop, it did not require many decorations. Even the tent is decorative with the draped ceiling and chandeliers. It was a little chilly so the patio area wasn't used as much but I'm sure would be a great spot for guests during cocktail hour in warmer weather. Once we were in the tent and dancing, it was plenty warm though without any extra heaters. We stayed in the Inn the night of the wedding and it was great. Very nice, convenient, and comfortable. Last but not least, Kasey was great to work with all the way from touring and booking the venue from execution on the day of the wedding. She helped guide us through the ceremony during the rehearsal and on the day of as well. I would recommend using this venue to anyone looking for a scenic outdoor New England venue!

Wonderful October Wedding

If you are looking for a wedding venue on a mountain, The Mountain Rose inn is your place! Stunning leaf colors, and mountain view, even at the end of October. Kasey and Ryan were the ultimate hosts. Kasey was most helpful in every aspect of planning our daughter's wedding. She responded to all correspondence in a timely manner. She is very knowledgeable of the wedding vendors in the area, and whom works best at the venue. Her input was most helpful. The Inn had rooms for the family to stay in the night of the wedding, and that was very convenient.
If you are looking for a mountain venue, I highly recommend the Mountain Rose Inn, in Greenfield MA.

Wonderful wedding experience at a quaint hillside inn!

We couldn't be happier with our decision to have our special day at the Mountain Rose Inn! Kasey and her husband were both wonderful on the day of and Kasey is so easy to work with and helpful! You can tell she really cares about her couples and how their wedding comes out. Plus, staying at the inn, along with the proximity of all the spaces, makes life SO EASY... We didn't have to worry about transport to or from multiple locations! And the view, the ceremony space is gorgeous. The overlook of the valley / Berkshire landscape was such an amazing backdrop for our photos.
Finally, Kasey was also able to suggest a list of capable vendors, most of whom are very familiar with her property! This made the day fairly stress-free, as we could trust that everyone knew where they had to be and what they had to do.
Again, couldn't be happier with our decision to trust Kasey with our wedding day, highly suggest you do the same!

Amazing Amazing Venue!

Kasey and the Mountain Rose Inn was the most beautiful setting for our fall wedding! I couldn't be happier with how our wedding turned out. Kasey was so accommodating, responsive and amazing to work with !! She went above and beyond for us and was great with million questions I had! The number of compliments we received on the view and scenery from our guests was extensive. I would highly highly recommend The Mountain Rose Inn for your wedding venue!

Perfect Wedding

The Mountain Rose Inn exceeded our expectations!! My partner and I fell in love with the spectacular views and gorgeous greenery. The venue not only had an amazing outdoor area, but the inside reception space was beautiful. The dance floor was massive which was were we spent most of our night. Kasey was super nice and so easy to communicate with, anytime I had a question she answered right away. I enjoyed everything the venue had to offer, we truly had the perfect wedding here!

Beautiful Wedding Spot

I think the view probably speaks for itself but it’s worth mentioning how stunning of a location this venue is. There is plenty of space inside the inn for everyone to get ready and plenty of room for all the wedding festivities outside and inside the tent. Also, the tent itself is beautiful. There are two chandeliers and a draped ceiling which makes everything feel glamorous. The back wall is clear so everyone can enjoy the lovely view as well. We also opted for some fans to keep everyone nice and cool for our early summer wedding, which was a big help. Kasey was so easy to work with and she did an amazing job making sure everything went smoothly. She was also very patient with my many many questions as the day approached. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better spot to celebrate.

Amazing views even better experience

Have your wedding here, hire the vendors that Kasey recommends to you and have the greatest day of your life. The Mountain Rose Inn with the outdoor ceremony and space for cocktail hour, elegent tent for our plated meal service was beyond anything my husband and I could have dreamed of. Our guests were so thrilled with the experience they were asking how we found such an amazing space throughout the night. We all appreciated having the beautiful ceremony on site, made for such a relaxed and enjoyable pace to the wedding. Kasey (owner) is a dream to work with, responsive, transparent and can talk a bride of a ledge! We were thrilled with every vendor she recommended.

Stunning Venue

The Mountain Rose Inn was exactly what I was looking for when searching for a venue for our wedding, and I'm so happy that I chose them. Kasey was amazing to work with - very responsive, kind, and helpful. The venue is absolutely breathtaking - the mountain views, gorgeous flowers and trees were all a dream! The wedding day went smoothly, and Kasey was so flexible with us - I can't say enough good things about this venue!

This is a fantastic venue

It has beautiful views plus the grounds themselves are beautiful for hosting events. The outdoor and indoor areas are spacious and leaves plenty of room for dancing or having a quiet chat outdoors away from the music. The owners are great hosts, easy to work with and collaborate with our vendors. We highly recommend them and their venue.

The Mountain Rose Inn

This is an absolutely beautiful venue to have a wedding or any other celebration. The views are breathtaking and the property is beautifully maintained.....we held our small intimate wedding here and were extremely happy with everything, including how responsive and helpful the owners were to work with. If you want to have a stunning outdoor celebration, the Mountain Rose Inn is the place to go. We will always have the most wonderful memories because we chose to have our wedding there.
