Couples are welcome to use the Smith College Conference Center with up to 100 for dinner-style weddings or 300 reception-style. The college conference center provides many rooms indoors as well as uncovered outdoor settings to host your wedding. Couples and their guests will enjoy the latest audio and visual capacities throughout, as well as a convenient onsite kitchen for preparing special delights.

Services Offered
In addition to weddings, Smith College Conference Center hosts bridal showers, engagement parties, receptions and even elopements. Staff is on hand and ready to assist with wedding packages or recommend local vendors. To make your day stress-free and easier, setup and cleanup are provided as well. To assist with the small details, the Smith College Conference Center also offers audio equipment, chairs, tables, furniture and a dance floor to make your wedding planning process complete.

The perfect venue!!

We had an excellent experience with Emily and her team at the Conference Center. Everyone was friendly, responsive, involved, and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a smoother day, thanks to them! The space is beautiful and offers everything we needed, and more. The cocktail hour on the Terrace was gorgeous, and the indoor areas felt spacious and were beautifully set up. I can hardly believe we were able to pull off so many elements for 120 guests for the price we paid -- amazing value and didn't feel at ALL like we were cutting any corners. We can't recommend the Conference Center enough! Absolutely ideal spot and people!

Everything we wanted and more!

When we had to reschedule our wedding this fall, our hopes were not high for securing a venue on short notice. Finding this venue was like winning the lottery! They handled everything we no longer had time for, and Emily was so friendly and helpful. We are beyond pleased with how beautifully things turned out, and can't recommend this place enough!

A beautiful venue with a fantastic staff!

Smith College Conference Center was the perfect spot for our wedding ceremony and reception. The nearby gardens made for fantastic photos, and the lush greenery around Paradise Pond was a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Dinner upstairs and dancing downstairs was the perfect combination that left us plenty of room for our 85 guests to mingle, relax, or dance.

We also had plenty of space for getting ready, and a lot of flexibility for decorating the day before. Emily and her team were fantastic to work with. She was extremely professional, skilled, and helpful both in the months leading up to the wedding, and on the big day itself. We felt very well taken care of and totally stress free knowing that we had such a fantastic venue coordinator.

I cannot recommend this venue enough!

Our daughters June 1st Wedding

Smith College Conference Center was the perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding. We loved the fact that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception with dance floor could all happen under one roof.
The outdoor covered deck allowed the ceremony to be protected from the weather yet still had the outdoor feel with views of the water. There were rooms for both the bridal and grooms parties to get ready.

The location in Northampton was great for her out of town guests many of whom flew into Bradley International. Most had never been to New England had an easy ride ride up to Rte 91.
Emily was a pleasure to work with. She made the whole process simple. Everything went as planned.
Our guests raved about the venue.
The nearby gardens were an added bonus for photos.
Highly recommend!

Flexible, kind and professional

Smith was wonderful to work with from the start - flexible with scheduling, very responsive and patient with questions, and we had a wonderful wedding there. Emily was amazing to work with, and we are grateful for their service and the memories!

The venue alone is spectacular, but pair that with incredible customer service - wow! Our event was a huge success. The conference center manager, Heather's impeccable judgement, knowledge, attention to detail, creativity, caring and patience made it all possible! Thank you!

I worked with Addison and he was great! This venue is unique and beautiful. I did a winter wedding and the all glass windows was such a beautiful view. They are extremely flexible. If you have a vision you are free to make it happen. I was able to go in the day before and decorate the space how i wanted. Price is great!

Great venue for great price!

I am so happy we picked Smith College Conference Center for our reception! We were on a tight budget and this was the perfect price. The great price included a large area including an upstairs, downstairs, and balcony area. Plus beautiful sunset views of the pond. They were very flexible and helpful in the planning process. Would absolutely recommend!

Great venue that is low cost!

We were really happy with the Smith College Conference Center - we had our ceremony here for an October wedding. It was nice and easy to plan - and perfect in its location, which was less than a mile away from our reception. We had gorgeous views of the fall foliage from our ceremony, and loved the mid-century vibe the welcoming room has. We were also pleased to be so close to the beautiful red bridge over the pond, and the botanical garden for portraits.
