Hands down the absolute best choice we made for our wedding venue! The ceremony and reception areas were perfect for our Boho country wedding! Easily accommodated 100 guest and plenty of room for our food caterer and DJ! The owner - Gail Monk was so easy to work with, absolutely pleasant and beyond helpful with all aspects! I highly recommend this venue! You will not be disappointed

On April 15th, my husband and I were fortunate enough to have our wedding at the beautiful Monk Ranch in Dixon, California. The property was perfectly set up, creating an enchanting atmosphere for our special day. One of the highlights of our experience was working with Gail, who went above and beyond to make our wedding dreams come true.
Monk Ranch offers an idyllic and serene setting for any wedding celebration. The property is thoughtfully designed to accommodate both the ceremony and reception, providing ample space for guests to enjoy the stunning surroundings. We were particularly taken by the romantic ambiance created by the rustic elegance of the barn, which served as the perfect location for our reception.

Gail was an absolute pleasure to work with. From our first interaction, her dedication to making our wedding day flawless was evident. She was incredibly helpful and attentive, always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and ensure that every detail was perfectly executed. Her warm and friendly demeanor immediately put us at ease and allowed us to focus on celebrating our love.

Our guests were just as impressed with the venue and Gail's exceptional service. Many commented on the beautiful setting, the seamless organization of the event, and Gail's professionalism and genuine care for our wedding. It is clear that Gail and the Monk Ranch team are passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for couples and their loved ones.

The Monk Ranch is a beautiful, rustic country setting located near Dixon, CA. I have photographed here several times. The intimate garden has lush green lawns and big trees for lots of shade. There is a birch arbor that can be used for the ceremony backdrop, a beautiful historic barn for your reception, and lots of wonderful locations on the property for photos. Fantastic location for a country wedding!

Gail is the owner and main contact for The Monk Ranch, if your looking for a very personal and rustic country look, this is the perfect venue for you. My wife and I recently had our wedding here and not only is Gail personable and completely easy going she loves couples and weddings and loves to help you in anyway she can. This includes her letting you use her decorations that she has bought and put together, she lets you use her bar, which is beautiful. She also gives you options to have an outdoor or indoor (BARN) reception. Gail recently renovated her barn and it looks like something that you've pined. This venue was perfect for my wife and I, we used her ceremony chairs and were married outside and then took pictures in her almond orchards, and then moved on to the bar and barn area were we had our reception. My wife and I looked at many other venues and we constantly found that there was so many restrictions on drinks, food, decor, chair rentals, preferred vendors. With Gail she allows you to customize your wedding with whatever vendor you like, we choose to rent farm tables, and did two food trucks and our guest couldn't even believe how great the food and the place looked. Did I mention she is incredibly affordable as well and she excepts credit cards, cash, check, ATM. You can reserve your date for $1,000 and then pay off the remainder 2-3 weeks before your event date. Total cost for my wife and I was $5,000. This included her event staff, driver of tractor for your guests to enjoy through the almond orchards, parking staff, and all her decor, oh and the women get an entire wedding cabin so they can get ready there. My wife loved that cabin, it had a shower, bathroom, swing, porch, fridge, mirrors, were to hang your wedding dress, and bridesmaids dresses. If your looking to get married this place is a must see! The Monk Ranch earned a five out of five stars in every category in this review. The venue is beautiful for
an intimate country ceremony and reception. The grounds are impeccably maintained. Every time I went out for a planning meeting the grounds were always clean and pleasant to look at. There are many opportunities for great pictures, even an Antique Buggy that has been on the Ranch for generations. The owner Gail Monk is wonderful to work with, and is always there to help out. Go and check it out, you won't be disappointed!

The monk ranch was such a beautiful property to spend my sons first birthday! There was plenty of area space, great shade for the hot day and absolutely stunning scenery! I will be using this venue for many more special events in our near future!
