We worked with The Marsels for our wedding and had an amazing experience. Dwight (the lead singer) is fun and incredibly engaging, which helped our guests have a blast.

We had them do live music for the ceremony / cocktail hour as well as a reception. Everyone loved the music! We had folks ranging from 21-80 at the wedding, and there was something for everyone.

They were also very adaptive to our needs - they helped with the full A/V setup, allowed us to use our own playlist for the dinner, supported M/C coverage for speeches, and were generally very easy to work with. We also found them to be an affordable live band option given the size of the group and the amount of time we had them playing music.

Would highly recommend this band! If you’re on the fence and want to see them play live first - go see them light up the crowd at The Cantab in Central Square!

They were absolutely amazing! They definitely made the night and got everyone on the dance floor. I loved how interactive they were with the crowd and played such fun music for everyone to dance to. They were very accommodating having my brother sing our first dance song and doing a "mashup" for our father daughter dance. They also got my grandmother involved which meant so much to me! Highly recommend!

If we tried, we could not say enough good things about The Marsels. They learned the important songs (first dance, parental dances, special requests, etc.) and they played them to a T! From the moment they invited others to join us on the dance floor after our first dance to the last dance of the night, the dance floor was packed. As far as their flexibility goes, we decided with less than a few days to go to extend their contract to our cocktail hour and they crushed it. Had our venue allowed us to extend our rental time, we were ready to pay them to stay longer and they were more than happy to do it; they were just that incredible and flexible. An even bigger testimonial to their ability to read a crowd and have fun? People from our families who don’t normally dance were out on the floor for most, if not all, of the night! Everyone kept telling us throughout the night and after the wedding how amazing they were and how much fun they had because we hired such an amazing band. The Marsels really love what they do and know how to read a crowd; both of which really shine through in their performances! They were flexible, responsive, professional, talented, and above all else, fun! I cannot say enough good things about Dwight, Frank, and the rest of The Marsels. Thank you so much for making our event one that more than just the bride and groom will remember! I strongly recommend The Marsels to anyone looking for entertainment at their event that people will talk about long after the party is over.

The Marsels are the most amazing wedding band of all time. They get everyone up and dancing on the dance floor and play music that all guests like (age 7 to 77!). Dwight really knows how to get the crowd into it and involved, everyone had a blast. The band even brought me up on stage to sing Justin Bieber karyoke! (I had requested that they learn the song... but bringing me up to sing with them was such a fun surprise!). If you want to ensure that your guests will have so much fun and that your wedding will be a fantastic party, hire the Marsels!

The Marsels are the absolute best! They are worth every penny!

The Marsels made our wedding amazing. They were by far our favorite vendor. They got the entire crowd up dancing the entire time. Their lead singer Dwight is awesome as well. They are definately a crowd pleaser. After our wedding, we had an overwhelming number of compliments on the band, and many of our friends asking for their information as they were in the mist of planning their own wedding. Definately look into them and use them!

They were awesome! They played all the songs we wanted and stayed away from the ones we didn’t. They got the crowd going and got people on stage. They took breaks at appropriate times and didn’t miss anything. They really play off the crowd, so if you have a fun bunch that loves to dance… I would hire them in a heartbeat. Many of the other vendors, who have worked at many many weddings, commented on how great the band was.

We booked the Marsels for our wedding this summer in Maine and they were incredible!! Dwight and his band were so much fun and had the dance floor packed the whole evening! They brought sound for the ceremony, music for the cocktail hour and MCd our reception meal and then we brought it to the dance floor to close out the night. They are an 8 piece band with a range of sound and genres. You can’t go wrong booking them for your wedding!

I had them play at my wedding after hearing them at three others. They are awesome and so easy to work with. They will learn songs for you if they don't know them and they played longer at our reception than the contract stated. They are on the pricey side, but if you want to have fun and get all of your guests out on the dance floor, you can't go wrong with the Marsels!
