Can I give Lionel and Kristiaan six stars?? Seriously, these two are absolutely amazing. I could not more highly recommend them!! We worked with Lionel and Kristiaan for an intimate 12-guest wedding during COVID. Their photos are absolutely STUNNING and they did an incredible job capturing beautiful, authentic, organic moments throughout the day that we will treasure forever. My father-in-law is particular about photography and had a million questions about their approach to wedding photos. They were incredibly patient and thoughtful talking him through their style and took into account his feedback and desires for how the photos would look. He is a very hard guy to please, and he has been raving about how perfect the photos are. We couldn't agree more! Beyond how amazing the Madious are as photographers, they are also just wonderful people and it was such a pleasure to have them around on our wedding day.

Lionel and Kristiaan are truly DREAM COME TRUE photographers. They are so helpful through the planning process and on the day of. They are seasoned and professional, helping us through every step. On the day of, they
were truly outstanding. In special quiet moments, they blended right in. We were able to share so many meaningful memories even with a photographer there the whole time. They also HUSTLED. They were willing to run around with us and sneak in a couple shots inside, outside, in the bridal suite, at any moment we had time away from our guests...they were there, capturing it. They captured amazing moments with all of family and friends. We really wanted candid shots, instead of posed, and they nailed it. They got images of tears, laughter, and pure joy that we would have completely missed. The photos they produce are simply incredible. We could not be happier. They have a whole mix of artistic photos, candid, romantic, and most importantly they managed to capture the feeling in the room every time. Every photo they took felt so authentic and bursting with love. We would get married again just to have them shoot it!

Leah and Garrett were absolutely wonderful! We Skyped a few times before the big day and they answered all our questions and created a great timeline to fit in the photos we wanted. Of course wedding days rarely go as planned so they were able to help us adjust our timeline as needed when we started running behind.

Several people commented about how they have been to weddings where the photographer always seemed in the way but they were so impressed that they barely noticed Leah and Garrett at all! They did a wonderful job of staying out of the way but also capturing such beautiful and genuine moments.

The biggest thing I wanted was amazing candid shots and wow did they come through! I have such special moments of our first look, my father seeing me for the first time, my mother tucking back my hair, and even an awesome action shot of my MOH fluffing my train! They also captured some beautiful artistic shots that I can't wait to hang on our wall.

They ran a little behind on getting us our edited photos but they stayed in contact with us the whole time and kept us updated on the progress. It was well worth the wait because we have more stunning photos than we even know what to do with!

Kristiaan and Lionel were a PERFECT fit for my husband and I! We were lucky enough to be able to work with them for our Engagement Shoot and our Wedding Day! I was nervous about posing and looking awkward but as soon as we began our adventure of an Engagement Shoot, they put us at such ease! They kept us smiling and laughing and just let us settle into it and just be ourselves, together. When we moved to the ice rink, Kristiaan patiently (and stealthily) caught great shots of us through the crowd and Lionel even strapped on a pair of skates and somehow managed to shoot while not falling! The result were amazing pictures that our friends loved because they said it was natural and captured how we truly were together. And I love that they were able to draw that out of us and shoot it beautifully! And we had an incredibly fun time!
Now on our wedding day, they were such a joy and comfort to have around! And they went above and beyond...Lionel made a special trip to retrieve my veil and Kristiaan was the one who kindly and carefully placed the veil on my head! My family & friends loved them- they were so accommodating and genuine ninjas. Somehow they were everywhere at the same time without being in the way of anyone or anything!! The pictures we've seen so far are GORGEOUS and capture amazing moments that I'll treasure always! Having their energy and spirit at the wedding only added to the fun and by the end of it all- they're truly friends with amazing artistry and talent! You won't have to worry about anything once you're in their hands. They will be sure to capture the joy and love on your wedding day so you can always relive it through their gorgeous photography! We feel so unbelievably lucky that we stumbled across Artfelt Studios. They captured the joy and beauty of our wedding weekend, the exuberance of our guests, and the larger-than-life quality of the events perfectly. The Artfelt photographers have a great sense of timing -- looking at the pictures, it seems like they managed to be wherever our friends and family were at their most charming: the candids are fantastic. They did such a great job intuiting what moments it would be important to us to capture. In terms of the quality, all of the photos could be featured in bridal magazines - they're all so gorgeous it feels impossible to decide which ones to print and frame. They're so much more amazing than we even dared to hope for - really works of art. Plus, the photographers were fun and easy to work with (they added zero extra wedding stress), blended in easily with the party guests, and delivered the pictures on time in a few different convenient and easy-to-use formats (for web/ print/ social media).

I was tempted to leave this review after I got my preview pics, but just in case I wanted to wait for the full set. Just as I expected, they came out AMAZING. I can't stop staring at them and I honestly do feel like I relive moments from the day whenever I stare at them. The pictures are stunning, and Kristiaan and Lionel stand out in terms of the personal interest they took not only in photographing our wedding, but also to getting to know us as people (up to and including meeting us in person to look at the slideshow of images and give us the hard drive of the digital prints).

It immediately puts a smile on our faces when we think about how lucky we were to have the Madious fly to Michigan to be a part of our amazing wedding weekend! They truly are a part of our family now. The pictures are breathtaking and this couple is beyond talented! Lionel and Kristiaan are THE most down to earth, fun loving couple. They made us feel relaxed and beautiful, and made us laugh quite a bit ;) All of our friends and family were saying how they loved them and wanted to keep them in Michigan! We can't thank them enough for the privilege of having them a part of our special day!
