The Leaning Tree made my wedding become a fairy tale. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. The owners were so great to work with. Food was delicious and House is gorgeous!

Awesome venue for a magical, romantic garden reception!! What an amazing celebration!! Our garden reception and dance were unforgettable experiences! The Wilsons were very accommodating and attentive to helping us give our daughter the evening she had dreamed of!! From the breathtaking garden walks among the lighted trees to the absolutely delicious food and outstanding accommodations, our night was incredible! Thanks to Mary Wilson for her suggestions in food choices and setup! Fantastic venue...will definitely use this venue again!!

Having my wedding at The Leaning Tree was a dream. Mary and Ricky are two of the most warm and special people that I know and The Leaning Tree as a venue gave me a piece of home for my wedding. The Leaning Tree provides an elegance that is breathtaking in pictures and a coziness that makes your guests feel like this is a place they have always known. Mary's cooking and recipes are excellent and her attention to detail makes every piece of your day feel like it has been specially crafted just for you. I highly recommend The Leaning Tree, it is a magical place for any event, especially a bride's big day.

Neither my husband nor I had a clue how to plan a wedding once engaged. We contemplated for months to just travel somewhere for a small destination wedding, that is, until someone mentioned The Leaning Tree to us. At the time we were living only about 15min from the venue, and had driven by there 100+ times. We always loved the house, but never new just how magical it was beyond those iron gates. We scheduled a meeting with Mrs. Wilson, and within minutes we knew The Leaning Tree was the perfect fit for our vision. From the reception house, the food, the sitting/bar area, the fountains, the BEAUTIFUL grounds, the main house, Mr/Mrs Wilson and staff our wedding was perfect! The decor and scenery at The Leaning Tree exceeded all expectations and require very few, if any additions. We have been to The Leaning Tree for a few occasions since our wedding, and we are greeted with a smile and hug from Mrs Wilson every time. Our wedding was intimate and magically with the help of The Leaning Tree. I would marry my husband a hundred times over, and do it at The Leaning Tree every time.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilson are the wonderful owners of this beautiful place. It is hidden in the heart of Bailey, NC and has the feel of a secret garden. In 2013 I said I do at The Leaning Tree and was very pleased with the service.
