Since the 1920s, The Lake House at Avondale Estates has been a landmark in the City of Avondale Estates. This Tudor Revival style lakeside retreat easily accommodates 100 seated guests and 150 guests for cocktail parties. Soon-to-be-newlywed couples have the option to provide their own vendors and caterers for their special day, as well as supply their own alcohol and food at no extra charge. With its versatility and flexibility, the event spaces will allow you to bring your dream celebration to life. Your guests will enter the historic property through the nicely appointed foyer as they arrive. The adjoining main event room features a large dance floor and comfortable seating area, perfect for both dancing and lounging. Formerly a library, the adjacent room leads to the charming covered porch area where guests can enjoy a peaceful, scenic view of the well-cared-for lake. There is also a large stone patio, with a wooded view, for parties or ceremonies. In any season, it is a beautiful backdrop for an indoor or outdoor event.
