The Joyful Poppy is a wedding florist and design business located in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Lyndsay has been designing weddings for over 15 years. Her journey started in Las Vegas, where she worked in the floral shop at one of the busiest chapels on the strip. It was a fun introduction to the industry. From there, she moved to work at a large event company, helping brides bring their visions to life. She did everything from floral consultations to design and installation. She even helped pick linen, uplighting, and draping. Then she went to college for Ornamental Horticulture and even won national awards at an AIFD (American Institute of Floral Design) convention for her centerpiece designs. She moved to Colorado and freelanced for wedding designers, ultimately helping hundreds of brides across Colorado.
Lyndsay started the Joyful Poppy with the vision of a locally sourced, sustainability-focused company. She uses local growers and farms and supports the Northern Colorado Community. Lyndsay loves creating Look Boards to help a couple see their vision. Lyndsay facilitates the wedding from the design period to the execution. It’s her absolute JOY to design your wedding.
