If I could give this venue 10 stars I would. We held my daughter’s reception here and it was absolutely amazing! From meeting with Lane on our first tour of venues to the second we walked out at the end of the reception, everything was fabulous! Lane was very helpful and gave me so much advice and suggestions, and this was before we even decided to book. We toured a few venues, but none compared to what The Jaxson offered. If you’re looking for an all-inclusive venue, this is the one you want! Once we booked, Lane and Anthony were always there to guide me and answer all of my questions and I had lots of them. They had so many suggestions and they were spot on!! My guests have all raved about the food, the venue, the staff, the drinks and the execution of the entire event! The attention to detail that they put into the display of the food was incredible! I think guests thought we paid a florist to decorate all of the food stations, but that was included in the price. The view of the river is stunning! We were also allowed to take pre ceremony photos outside of The Jaxson and I’m sure that was an inconvenience for them, but they never said a word! This place is everything and more, if you’re considering it for a reception or event! If I had to say 1 small negative thing, it would be the personal attendant for the bride and groom and their families, but I honestly think she had a hard time finding us or getting to us. Keeping up with 7 people, who never stopped moving, is no easy task! But it was easy getting a drink at the numerous bars when needed. She was always offering us something to eat though, but when you’re having so much fun, sometimes you forget to eat! My advice to anyone who books The Jaxson, eat at the reception, because the food is some of the best you’ll ever have. We did get some leftovers and they were just as good the next day! Thanks again to Lane, Anthony, Terry and your entire staff for helping me give them the wedding of their dreams! If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change anything!! We -very- last minute flew to New Orleans to celebrate our first anniversary in the city we got married in. We of course stopped The Jaxson and we realized, we never left a review.

SO, a year and a day later (I’m sorry!)
We actually booked with them in August 2019 after seeing how beautiful the inside was, all the spots for great photos and loved the idea of having the venue and caterer all in one, (perfect for destination weddings!). We knew booking here means booking with professionals.

Covid came and our 2020 wedding was postponed.
Within hours, the team here had made sure we knew every option for our postponing and was able to make sure we had the same date for the following year.

The Jaxson’s team are so helpful and accommodating, they really made the “travel wedding planning with a touch of covid postponement” much less of a headache than it sounds. During this time, they also reached out just to see how we were doing and were always ready to help with any questions, (which I had a lot of and often would ask the same question again a month later, thanks for your patience with me 😅).
Once 2021 Halloween Wedding was officially in the clear, we came back to New Orleans for a tasting - OMG the food!! We wish could have had endless options because all of the food we tried was fantastic. One of the hardest parts of planning was definitely the food for us because it was all so delicious. You can’t go wrong. AND they set up the food stations so beautifully. We had Italian style decor on one table, a seafood station, a voodoo decor food table. We got so many compliments on how beautiful everything looked.
I know this review is already long, you could say it took me a year to write lol, and we did work with The Jaxson for over 2 years.
What I’m trying to convey is they are truly professionals and by the time all said and done, felt like friends - which is definitely the feeling you want when you’re working so closely with someone for your vision of one of the most important days of your life. Their standard is unmatched. We still get compliments about our wedding from how beautiful the space and decorations were to how much people loved the food and ambiance. That is to thanks to The Jaxson and what their team can accomplish. They truly go above and beyond here.
Big big thank you to Anthony, who was the best coordinator we could have asked for. He WILL make sure everything happens correctly and on time and for a bride, groom and entire bridal party who all seem to have the same downfall of “sorry running 10 min late”, this was crucial for our group lol. We followed nearly all his suggestions when it came to floor plan, set up, schedule, etc - this made planning so much easier - and everything went perfectly.
Basically, you want it, they deliver your happily ever after better than you imagined.

from someone who loved it so much they were ready to book online from states away, fell in love more when I saw it in person, worked flawlessly with them thru a national pandemic and had the most beautiful wedding without a hiccup.

My daughter had her wedding and reception at the Jaxson on May 20,2022 There are no words to explain how great the experience was for everyone! Although the service was first class and the venue was stunning, the food was beyond any expectations we had. Our guest were blown away!!! Thanks to everyone at The Jaxson…especially Mac and Anthony…you guys rock!

Everything was perfect! A New Orleans wedding to the tee! Everyone at the Jaxson went above and beyond to make this the perfect experience for our family. They came in clutch when our original venue cancelled after Hurricane Ida! God works thing out for the greater good!

My wedding reception was at the Jaxson on Dec 2. The whole experience was excellent. Tray and Sabine were so easy to work with and made sure to perfectly execute the vision that I had for the reception. Mr. Earl, the bartenders, servers, and the rest of the staff did a great job and were very courteous. They always made sure that we had something to eat and to drink as well as making sure that all of our guests were well taken care of. The venue was the perfect setting for us. Our guests are still raving about the delicious food. I would highly recommend the Jaxson!

What an amazing experience! The venue is in the heart of French Quarter giving you the authentic feel of New Orleans with the back drop of the mighty Mississippi. The Jaxson gives you an intimate feeling, but has more than adequate space to a decent group whether big or small. The Jaxson has a very experienced, talented and willing staff, ready to help with all the intricacies of your big day. They have a lot of in house amenities that suited our needs and helped with other things they didn’t provide. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our time at the Jaxson. If anyone is thinking of having a traditional New Orleans wedding this is where you want to be.

The Jaxson did an outstanding job for our reception! We had such a great time and it was so nice knowing that everything was being taken care of, especially when we didn't hire a wedding coordinator. Tray was great to work with and very easy- going. Tray put up with about 20+ table layout changes from me, his patience was golden! I also have to give a huge thank you to Andrea, she was our personal attendant during the reception and made sure that we were very well taken care of from food, to drinks, to napkins to wipe my sweat off from dancing! She also went so far as to follow us down the street during our second line to make sure we had full glasses of our favorite drinks! Everyone at The Jaxson did a phenomenal job, I would definitely recommend this venue to friends, family and strangers!

The Jaxson is a beautiful venue with amazing people! We held our wedding reception there this past March and it was everything we could have ever wanted. Sabine, Vicky, Tray, and all other staff involved were amazing to work with. Our guests raved about the food and how beautiful the space was!

Do not hesitate....book this amazing venue!!! We booked the venue in May, 11 months before the wedding and we were not able to get back to NOLA until days before, so we relied on Vicky, Sabine, and Tray to help us with just about everything and I can't say how happy we were with EVERYTHING!!!! We didn't even use a wedding planner. They were so helpful and prompt with suggestions, emails. texts, phone calls.
The venue is unlike anything else in NOLA......very clean and contemporary, modern, tons of windows, outdoor space with French Quarter views on one side and the water on the other. Spectacular!
The tasting we had was fabulous and the food at the wedding was, too. They served all night long and everyone loved it!
The night ended with the 2nd line.....we all walked down the awesome steps leading to Decatur St (can't wait to see those pictures!) and on into the FQ.
Absolutely the best wedding ever.....you and your guests will have an unbelievable event if you are lucky enough to book this spectacular place!!!

If I could rate 10 stars I would!! The Jaxson was a one stop shop for our big day. We had both our ceremony and reception at this beautiful venue. They did a phenomenal job of coordinating EVERYTHING. We provided them with every one of our vendors (Florist, Bakery, band, Photography, Photo Booth, etc.), and they handled making sure each vendor knew when and where to be as well as taking care of what equipment they needed, so it was totally stress free for us. They provided us with a coordinator and they ran our ceremony to absolute perfection. The staff was beyond friendly and professional. We had a butler assigned to us who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He brought us food as we were bouncing from around visiting with our guests just to make sure we had the opportunity to eat. Bailey went as far to run to CVS (and paid) to get safety pins for when my bustle ripped. We truly felt that he, along with the rest of the staff, took personal interest in making our day as close to perfect as possible. The FOOD! WOW! New Orleans Catering did the food and it was..... INCREDIBLE. The food presentation was amazing, almost looked to good too eat, but goo d thing we did- it tasted even better than it looked. Friends are still telling us how they are craving the lobster bites, crab & brie soup, and seared tuna etc. (weeks later). We had some picky eaters in our close family and they worked with us to make sure there was something for everyone. They were extremely proficient and knowledgable about their service and really took our vision and exceeded our expectations.
