I worked with Priscilla at The Hopeful Romantic Events to plan a surprise proposal to my partner, followed by socially-distant catered dinner with family and friends. Priscilla has been an absolute gem to work with, and helped bring my dream to life better than I could have imagined. Her attention to detail and incredible organizational skills meant that I could focus on the big picture and trust that every last element would fall seamlessly into place! Priscilla managed to tune into exactly the vision and aesthetic I had floating around in my head, and knew how to turn that into reality in a way that I never could have accomplished myself, filling in little details that truly made the event shine. I was so impressed with both her skill of execution - coordinating the vendors, planning the timeline, making sure every need was accounted for - and also her creative mind and ability to design an aesthetically gorgeous event. She had such patience when I was feeling lost in pandemic-induced blues about the event, and at the same time never lost sight of keeping us moving towards the end goal. She rolled with the punches when our original plans were turned on their heads by the pandemic, and with last-minute surprises like extra guests. This was not a logistically simple event to pull off, but Priscilla handled every step of the process with grace, professionalism, caring, and fun!

Last and perhaps most importantly, Priscilla made me feel truly cared for throughout every step of this process, with thoughtful gestures permeating both the moments when she could tell I was struggling, and the moments when we were all most joyous. 

I found Priscilla in this Facebook group and it was such a blessing, Priscilla is an angel. I can’t even begin to tell you how much she helped me throughout the whole postponement process, in such a stressful time. We had a little over a month to put together our ‘Plan B’ wedding since we decided to still get married on our original date after postponing our big reception in the craziness of 2020. Priscilla was on top of every single detail. She helped us find the venue of our dreams, our officiant, and a videographer to film our ceremony for a couple of hours (which were all fabulous). She calmed my nerves repeatedly, kept us in the loop with everything she was working on, and answered every one of my questions (there were at lot of them). She created the processional, recessional and worked on the timing of the day. On September 18th she made sure that the timing was on point and kept making small adjustments so that everything would continue to go smoothly. She set up the decorations with the vision that I had, and cleaned up & helped pack everything we had at the venue at the end of the night. She helped me with my long veil, train, and assisted me and my family with a million other things. The day would have not been what it was without her, it was perfect and beyond our wildest dreams. She was beyond amazing and I could not be more thankful that she was there on our special day!
