The Hitchin' Post is a beautiful rustic barn venue located on a 120 acre farm in Boyle County. Upon driving through our gated entrance you will be captivated by the gorgeous scenery. Our rustic yet refined barn is a unique opportunity for your next event. The barn is very spacious and will accommodate most wedding sizes.Our venue is equipped with 4 restrooms, bride/groom area, concrete floors, and a fully functional serving area. Along with these emenities The Hitchin' Post has a large bar area, and a stunning balcony with hardwood flooring. Our venue has white lights that accent the beautiful woodwork throughout the barn, and will remain in tack for your use. The Hitchin Post strives to make your event everything that you have ever dreamed of. Our southern charm and sincere hospitality sets us apart from other venues. A gorgeous, fairytale barn wedding venue

We booked the Hitchin Post for our wedding and could not be more happy with our decision! The owner, Stephanie, was so kind and helpful to us throughout the entire process. She even helped us with things she did not have to, such as helping light candles for us. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and they have the inside of the barn beautifully decorated with lights and drapes. My dreams of a beautiful, southern barn wedding came true with the Hitchin Post!

Stefanie and her family could not be more wonderful. They were SUPER flexible, easy to work with, and made my wedding day stress free and absolutely perfect. If you are looking for a barn wedding, this is the place to go. We hardly had to provide any decorations and the view for photos was breathtaking. From the venue, to the bridal suite, to the groomsmen area, everything was above and beyond my expectations. And I was able to afford it even though it was out of my pocket. THANK YOU to the Hitchin' Post for being a phenomenal venue and for amazing service.

Stefanie and her family have been extremely accommodating as we have begun the wedding planning process! The farm is beautiful with plenty of space and different areas for the ceremony!

I am so glad I found this place! We booked our wedding before it was even being advertized! Stefanie was great to work with, she and her family went above and beyond to help us and make our special day possible! I highly recommend this place as a venue for any future bride, the setting is beautiful and the photo opportunities are endless. Our families loved the setting as well and it fit us perfectly! If you're wanting a beautiful country rustic setting this is the place, there is no venue in Danville that compares.

My niece was recently married at this venue and it was one of the most beautiful events I have ever attended. It was simple, classy, perfect decor for the rustic barn venue - overall GREAT location. The owners were very hands on, professional, and supportive. I would highly recommend this venue for an overall great experience for special occasions.

A truly class act in a wonderfully rustic setting. From catering, to a second story dance hall, everything was perfect and well thought out. A night time wedding would be a glorious sight to see
