My husband and I absolutely loved everything about this venue. The staff were so easy to work with and made me feel at ease through the whole process. Every single one of our guess thought the venue was incredible and such a perfect place to get married. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely pick The hillside vineyard again.

For our Pop Up wedding, Tiffany and Mike at the Hillside Venue took a chance on us by hosting our event. And I couldn’t be more appreciative of their venue for our small wedding event!

The venue was ADORABLE and was a great place to host our event. From the Bridal suite, to the grooms room, to the gazebos, to the reception hall, it was the best we could have hoped for. Having the ability to host a ceremony outside, or if the weather wasn’t stellar being able to flip the indoor room for wedding and then reception made it a stellar place for us to chance our March wedding. Super appreciate that ability and was stoked that our event was able to be hosted outside :D

From the moment I met with the event manager, Katie, everything about our experience was amazing! Katie and the owners made our special day absolutely perfect. The venue is beautiful. They had great recommendations for vendors and Katie was a life saver the day of to help with all the loose ends! We had our wedding outside in a gazebo and the backdrop was perfect (deer and all!). Our family & friends couldn't stop raving about the place and how much fun they had. Thank you for making our wedding day a day that we will never forget!

We got married here on September 28, 2024 and it was perfect! Lindsey was so helpful and made everything go to smooth. They were so flexible and really made it our day. Everything was exactly how we pictured and on schedule. We couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Hillside Vineyard may look beautiful, but working with them was a nightmare. After we signed the contract, they stopped responding to emails and messages unless it was about collecting a payment. Communication was nearly impossible the entire time.

They advertise as “all-inclusive,” but everything came with hidden fees or last-minute upcharges. They told us they’d book our preferred DJ at a discounted rate—months later, we found out he was never contacted. They also tried to change our catering package and charge more, even though we had written confirmation of what we selected.

The lack of professionalism and responsiveness caused months of stress, and they did not deliver what was promised. If you’re considering this venue, be prepared to chase them down for basic answers—and expect to pay more than you agreed to.

I feel I have a responsibility to warn other couples about Hillside Vineyard. Lindsey comes off as a very kind woman who will do anything to make your perfect day happen. However, our experience was the opposite. It was impossible to get ahold of her despite calling and texting multiple times over the span of a few weeks. She made lots of promises that she didn't fulfill.
1) She promised she had booked our preferred DJ 8 months in advanced but when we hadn't heard from him at 6 months out we reached out and he said he had never heard of Lindsey or the Hillside Vineyard. Luckily, he was still available.
2) When we signed the contract it included traditional full service catering. Then the month before she said that it was actually a taco bar which was not in our contract. They had updated the website from when we had signed to now and initially did not want to honor our signing contract. If you book here I highly recommend saving a pdf of your contract and the website specifics.
2) Day of, she promised her team would take care of the table and chair setup and setting up any decor. Three hours before the wedding nothing was done. When we went to look for Lindsey and hillside staff we couldn't find anyone. We called and texted and it took over an hour before we heard back (two hours before the wedding). Our bridal party frantically had to step up and we missed the excitement of getting ready and the photos. This set our whole timeline back and we didn't get to enjoy cocktail hour.
3) at the end of the night Lindsey assured us she would move all belongings from the bridal suite into the main area for people to take home. Instead she pulled our bridal party off the dance floor and had them move everything. This took 30-45 minutes and we missed spending time with some of the people we were most excited to see.
4) I assure you she will make sure you are off the premise by 10pm. There is no wiggle room and she will not ask nicely.
5) They are not transparent about pricing like their website says and they will be asking for more up to and including on the wedding day.

The whole experience with Hillside was extremely upsetting and disappointing. If you have this venue you absolutely NEED a day of coordinator.

Despite all of this, I think the most frustrating part is that since the wedding I have been trying to get in touch with Hillside to talk about what went wrong and ensure it doesn't happen to another bride and have not heard anything from them. I have never written a bad review before but this is one that needs to be said. WEDDING COUPLES BEWARE.
