The Hidden Chateau is an outdoor wedding venue located in Escondido, California, just half an hour away from San Diego. Situated within the city's historic district, the property was initially built in 1910 for Sallie and A.W. Wohlford. Throughout the century, the impressive home was well known for its picturesque gardens and charming ambiance for social gatherings. Today, couples can enjoy the same atmosphere when celebrating their milestone moments here more than 100 years later.

Facilities and Capacity

The Hidden Chateau offers a beautiful, private setting for once-in-a-lifetime celebrations. Towering evergreens and strands of market lighting create a canopy over the lush grounds, providing a romantic atmosphere for any occasion. On the lawn, couples can exchange vows under dappled sunlight and The Golden State's expansive skies. Celebratory drinks, dining, and formal dancing can also take place in this area. At one side of the lawn is a charming brick pathway, leading those celebrating to a gazebo surrounded by foliage at the back of the yard. The structure invites newlyweds and their loved ones to enjoy its refreshing vantage point set away from the festivities. Complete with a chandelier, it provides a charming, intimate setting for those celebrating to create lifelong memories and share loving conversations.
