I could go on, and on, and on...and on about Dana and Phillip and their team. We first met Dana & Phillip a little over a year ago when we first started planning our wedding at the Historic Post Office. They came recommended to us by the Post Office and we gave them a call to set up an initial meeting. At our initial meeting we chatted about what kind of food we were thinking about having and even did a cake testing (yes- they do it all). We settled on southern & seafood for our reception entree. We had brisket & shrimp and grits for the main courses! The food was absolutely amazing. I can’t tell you how many people couldn’t stop raving about the food- even the next day. Wedding food always has a reputation for being mediocre but this was FAR from mediocre. Dana’s team was amazing and surpassed all of our expectations. Dana even made a special batch of the shrimp and grits without onions because my husband is weird (and then she even came and served him the dish at our table). She was so understanding with making multiple vegetarian dishes for some of my guests and made delicious alternatives.

Dana made our wedding cake - pumpkin spice & cream cheese that perfectly complimented our fall theme. As the other food, the compliments we received on the cake were endless. She decorated exactly how I pictured and described to her.

We used The Grey Goose for cocktail hour, reception, cake and used their staff for the bar. I cannot recommend them enough - they’re so easy going, professional and a pleasure to work with (this is really important). They made my day so special & memorable and I will always be thankful.

Food was delectable and the desserts were devine. The price was more then fair and dana was the best! Hire these guys. You won't be disappointed

Wonderful! The Grey Goose catered our daughter's wedding last weekend and went beyond expectations! The surf & turf meal was just what they wanted and the cheesecake & pies delighted our guests. Your staff was fantastic - it was absolutely perfect.

The fact that the food from our reception was all but gone should tell you how great our experience with everyone at The Grey Goose was for our wedding! It was delicious and my only regret is not getting to eat more of it during the reception! Every guest told us how much they enjoyed the food and presentation! Dana crafted a menu for us based on our likes and it was superb!

And the cake - OH MY GOODNESS! Almost everyone I talked to said they had seconds and I can tell you that we are not waiting a year to eat the top layer! It was divine and delicious and looked amazing! It was a lemon cake with FRESH blueberries and raspberries!

The folks at The Grey Goose gave us lovely suggestions for our wedding reception. Their menu exactly fitted with our tastes, and they were able to accommodate a couple of guests with some fairly limiting dietary restrictions. The food was delicious. The set up and clean up was unobtrusive and quick. They asked specific questions about the venue, and worked to make it a smooth party. I highly recommend especially the asparagus wrapped in phyllo, and the ham biscuits. The wedding cake turned out to be cupcakes, another suggestion that worked perfectly. And you have to taste the lemon cupcakes with raspberry filling. Seriously. The best.

These amazing folks made our Dad's 90th birthday so special. They worked with us on somewhat short notice and everything was perfect!

I love the staff they were very helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I would definately use them again.

I had to plan my parents 50th wedding anniversary LONG DISTANCE. Understandably there was great anxiety on my part going into the process. I can't explain how easy the owners of the Grey Goose were to work with. They were far more flexible that the DC restaurants I'm used to working with. They responded very quickly with any question I had (there were many) and I'm not kidding, they saved my hide. The cake ( baked by the owners) was the talk of the evening; it was personalized with pictures of their life together, and it was delicious. All of the food was. My parents can't (won't?) stop talking about what a wonderful evening it was, which is just what I hoped for. If I ever need to do something like this again, I wouldn't hesitate to use them, and I would definitely recommend them. Super easy to work with, real quality in their food and presentation.

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at the Grey Goose restaurant. It was a very intimate place to celebrate with our family and friends. They were so accommodating. We brought our own tablecloths and table decorations with which they decorated the restaurant so it was beautiful to walk into. We chose our own items from a large menu. They even accommodated one guest with a vegetarian alternative. The service was wonderful! Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. Great value for the price. We would highly recommend the Grey Goose for any large party dinner.
