The Gathering Place was the perfect venue for our event. Unlike most of the mansion options that are offered around the DMV area, this venue offers a bit of contemporary flair, which is exactly what we were looking for. They have plenty of rooms to host the different parts of your event (ceremony, cocktail hr, reception) AND they allow you to bring your own liquor which helped our budget a lot. Once the ball room was all done up in my decor theme, the room was breathtaking. Let's not forget the oh so affordable pricing. Allowed us plenty of room in our budget to splurge on other areas. All in all, we'd choose them again.

The Gathering Place has three large rooms of different sizes. We had a little over 100 guests and used the largest room. We had ample space for dining and dancing and probably could have accomodated another 100 guests.

The facility is clean and well maintained. It will accomodate a wide variety of entertainment sound and lighting systems.

The business office is very responsive and a pleasure to work with. We tried to pay cash for everything and TGP was well within our budget.

We would use them again and do recommend them to others.

Contemporary and elegant is what you will get when you book your event with The Gathering Place. It is a beautiful reception hall suitable for a number of events. The building manager was friendly and accommodating throughout the time my husband and I worked with her. She allowed us to visit several times with vendors in order to view the space, despite being closed for the day. Our wedding guests rant and rave about the accommodations provided. It was easily accessible for my family members in motorized chairs as well as older individuals with walking problems.
