Kate has been such a pleasure to work with. She's so personable and knowledgeable and truly makes your vision come to life - even if you don't know much about flowers. What truly impressed us was how gracefully they handled a last-minute change due to the weather. We had to move our ceremony and cocktail hour indoors due to high winds and they quickly adjusted everything without missing a beat, and the flowers looked just as gorgeous in the new setup.

Kate from The Flower Girl Company was amazing! She is a true artist with florals. I'm not a flower expert, so I appreciated it when Kate was able to take my limited direction and run with it. She was able to create works of art that far exceeded anything I could have envisioned. Kate was super friendly and very easy to work with. No questionnaires were needed and she was able to come up with a visual inspiration packet to show me what she could do. This was very helpful as I live out of state. All of the guests raved all night about how beautiful the flowers were.

Finding a florist for the day of our wedding was among the toughest vendor searches for our wedding that I was faced with. Wedding day florals and foliage are quite costly and I was determined to locate a florist that had experience, created gorgeous floral art and was in tune with the many costs that come with weddings, and is therefore competitive with their pricing. To support my search, I composed a document to share with florists that included the specific floral design I wanted for the big day. I was in correspondence with a number of florists and when I finally came across Flower Girl Company, I was excited. The owner, Kate, is so caring and intuitive. Once we connected, I knew I narrowed down the right choice for a florist. She looked over my floral design document and we had a conversation that incorporated her artistic skill and experience and how that instinctual expertise would lend itself towards creating what I envisioned for ceremony and reception decor. After our call, she sent over a quote that further bolstered what I envisioned. We also met in person and, from that additional meeting, I know Kate was able to channel my personality into the characteristic creation of the floral decoration for my wedding. Kate made sure the decor at my wedding and reception was beautiful, and well-suited for and enhancing to our venue space and captured what I asked for. I am so grateful to know her and if I did my big day all over again, I would undoubtedly again choose The Flower Girl Company.

She was so easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable right from the start and was very accommodating to any changes that needed to be made as planning went on. I can't get over how much I LOVED the flowers at our wedding! Kate is incredible -- from the very first call together, we could sense her creativity and excitement for the work she does and it absolutely comes to life. We had a vision for bright colors, a monochromatic ombre vibe going through our reception tables... Kate took these ideas and ran with it! We received so many compliments on the flowers. She created a gorgeous floral design that carried through the entire celebration and truly made our day so special. Kate is a pleasure to work with, communicative, friendly - an ideal wedding vendor. We would recommend her to all future Chicago couples!

Working with Kate was such an easy and great experience. I gushed over her floral arrangements on IG for a while before reaching out- and I am so glad I did! With Covid impacting our plans, we had to push our date back a year. We still had a “micro” wedding with our closest family and friends and Kate designed the florals for it. I wanted a simple long table garland and of course the bouquet and boutonniere. These made our small event so pretty and special. Then, I was able to go to her studio to meet with her in preparation for the big wedding months later. If you are able to visit her studio- go! It was such a nice, relaxed vibe. I appreciated how easy it was to communicate with Kate and how quickly she understood my vision. The day of our wedding, the florals were absolutely beautiful! I appreciated that she provided flowers for the flat lay photography to make the detail shots extra pretty. I also thought that it was so special she had given the venue flowers to add to my husband and my cake plates when we were served dessert. Overall I highly recommend Kate to you. You will not be disappointed!

Kate was absolutely wonderful to work with for our florals! She is a true professional and artist when it comes to floral design. She was very responsive, she was not pushy about adding extras we didn't need or want, she listened to exactly what I was trying to visualize, and everything she delivered and set up was absolutely beautiful. She was so intentional about how she used florals and greenery in our venue and we were so amazed when we saw how stunning the space looked.
