The Estate is a historic mansion and wedding venue located in Atlanta. This secluded and unique estate is conveniently located in the heart of Atlanta’s thriving Buckhead community. Exclusively owned and operated by Legendary Events, an award-winning special event company, The Estate provides an elegant setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions and a dedicated team of event specialists.
Facilities and Capacity
From the moment your guests pass through The Estate’s stately black, wrought-iron gates, they’ll be instantly transported to the serenity and charm of the Old South. Fig, oak and magnolia trees frame a circular driveway in front of an antebellum Southern mansion. The house and Grand Hallway features two bars, spacious salons, beveled glass, a grand staircase, brick walls, artwork, crystal chandeliers, a baby grand piano, working fireplaces and beautiful and historic furnishings. An elegant ballroom boasts high ceilings, beautiful trim and a crystal chandelier. A glass-encased sun porch provides breathtaking views of trees and lush landscaping, and wine cellars downstairs provide the perfect space for cocktail hours. Outdoor ceremonies can be held in front of the house beside a beautiful fountain and underneath a canopy of towering trees.

This venue provides a beautiful and spacious Bride’s Room for the bridal party to use before and after wedding ceremonies. This room includes a private powder room, a vanity and full-length mirrors. A groom’s room is located in the wine cellar and includes comfortable seating.
The Estate is an ideal location for hosting private parties of varying sizes. In addition to wedding ceremonies and receptions, this location can accommodate all of your wedding events, such as engagement parties, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners. The Estate was built in 1797 in Wilkes County and carefully moved and rebuilt on Piedmont Road. Today, this estate is owned and operated by the award-winning events team at Legendary Events. This company was founded in 1997 and has since developed into one of the leading special event companies in the Southeast region. The Estate was the first event space solely operated by Legendary Events.

As the owner of Then Comes Marriage (professional wedding planning) We see a lot of different venues every weekend. We were absolutely amazed by the level of professionalism and attention to detail that Taryn, Josh, and Michelle provided at The Estate! They went far beyond our expectations of any venue or catering staff! Our sweet couple had an amazing wedding day- with the most beautiful photo locations throughout the property! Wow what a weekend! My daughters wedding was at The Estate this weekend and everything was absolutely perfect! They do almost everything including food and beverage, florist, cake and room design. Planning was so easy and fun. We had 4-5 meetings including tasting and staging (we got to see sample flower arrangements and make adjustments). Sabrina was very well organized and accommodating. The food was beyond excellent, and Oh My Gosh...the flowers!!!! The venue is beautiful by itself but they transformed it into a indescribably elegant atmosphere.
