The EG Peters Band has never failed to disappoint. My parents first discovered them at a friend's wedding, and then after seeing them at a local restaurant my brother ended up booking them for his own wedding two years ago. They were so great that we booked them for our wedding (8/29)! All the guys are fabulous, and they will learn any song (even the most obscure Paul McCartney song :)) for you with enough notice. More importantly, they play EVERYTHING. They had some really nice jazz going in the background while we were eating, but as soon as we were finished EG certainly got the party started with songs that range from "Uptown Funk" all the way back to Chubby Checker's "The Twist". He has a special way of feeling the crowd and giving them exactly what they're after. Everyone was talking about how great the band was for a long time after. I would 100% recommend these guys!

Why have a DJ when for just a little bit more you can have a classy band? These guys are fantastic. They play every genre of music, are extremely professional, will learn any song for your wedding, and in the process make your life easier and your guests happier. E.G. is great to work with. He spoke just the right amount to the crowd and helped the wedding run smoothly. It was so nice to find a band that could play everyone including Frank Sinatra, Van Morrison, Jimmy Buffet, Maroon 5, AND Lady Gaga! I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Fabulous!

We had EG Peters DJ our reception, and he did a great job! He had great equipment, was a great price, and definitely loves his job. He asked us what kind of music we listen to, what songs we didn't want to hear, if we had any specific requests, and had a timeline of our rehearsal so he could match up the music. EG had a great presence, played great music, and really had the party going. He even came out and danced with us (he knows my husband's dad). EG has also has a band, the EG Peters Band, that performs for receptions as well - I've seen them perform at bars, and they do a great job!

We weren't impressed. He did a good job but was slow in his communication and we had to follow up with him more than he followed up with us. Again, it wasn't that he did a BAD job, it just wasn't anything that made us feel like we needed to go out of our way to show him appreciation for "hard work".

Pro: he was affordable.
