I cannot be more thrilled with the venue, food, service and coordination of the staff at The Crow's Nest in Sant Cruz, CA. Mary Lou was beyond WONDERFUL! We came to this venue based upon good reviews of the food and service but didn't expect it to be as outstanding as it was. From the first site visit to the conclusion of the reception, the staff was amazing! Mary Lou coordinated all the vendors, i.e. linens, bakery, and she even decorated the room with the themed items we provided. Mary Lou became the coordinator we didn't have. This was wonderful especially since we live in the Central Valley and ours was a destination wedding. She even provided personalized menus for our reception guests. Our wedding was at 11am at another location and our reception was from 12-4PM. Having it earlier in the day made it easier on our overall wedding budget, and Mary Lou helped us maximize our dollars with great options that still made our reception beautiful.

I cannot say enough compliments about The Crow's Nest, and would HIGHLY recommend it as a wedding reception venue any day of the week!!!

What a hidden gem of a venue! Banquet Manager - Marilou is a dream to work with! Locals know how great the food is at The Crow's Nest Restaurant at the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor. The fact that my son and daughter-in-law's entire wedding ceremony AND reception was held on the beach did not compromise the quality of food or service. Marilou and her staff were instrumental in helping with obscure details and day of setup. From cocktail and hors d'oeurves to a sumptuous buffet of filet mignon and salmon - The Crow's Nest is a great value for your beach wedding! Not to mention a beautiful backdrop of the lighthouse, yacht harbor and the Monterey Bay...
