I’ve been going to The Color Room pretty much since it opened at its former location on 101st and when I tell you ever since then I cannot let anyone do my hair without feeling unsatisfied in the end because no other place can do my hair the same. It never works out! Jay and the color room have been treating, straightening, cutting and coloring my hair since 2014 as well as doing my makeup for any event. Ever since then my hair has grown so much healthier and longer. Even though I moved an hour and half away they were the first I called when I was planning my wedding hair and makeup. Another team was not an option. The confidence I have in them is 150%+, if there was anything I was NOT worried about the day of my wedding, it was my hair and makeup. I confidently colored my hair the day before my wedding knowing that the color would come out perfectly of which, came out even better than I thought. They, as always, were so professional, kind and thoughtful to make me and my bridal party feel like queens while making sure that our looks would last the entire day. We booked them to come to our private residence and they came early, set up quickly, did their amazing work and cleaned up like they were never here. I couldn’t be happier with the work they effortlessly did and would recommend them to anyone with an upcoming wedding. You cannot go wrong with the color room.

Jay did an amazing job with hair and makeup for my engagement Photoshoot! I highly recommend booking her. Also, my husband and I are regulars at the color room hair salon. The best option for curly hair and non curly hair. Thankful to find such a great stylist!

I was very particular w how I wanted my makeup to look on my wedding day. Janice was able to take what I was describing and make it into a reality. She is very easy to talk to and very professional. For any special events I would def use her and her team. If I could give them a 10 star rating I would.

These ladies were the absolute best. They made the entire wedding party look beautiful with zero stress. The quality of hair and make up was spectacular. I would recommended them to everyone I know.

I met Jay in 2015 when my cousin recommended her to do my hair and makeup for my sweet 16. Since then, she has provided her services for my prom in 2017, and for my cousins’ weddings in 2021 and 2022! She does hair and applies makeup beautifully, and it will last the ENTIRE day. Jay never disappoints!
