The Children's Museum was a perfect location for our wedding reception. The whole team at the Children's Museum was responsive and helpful throughout the whole planning process, the value of everything included in their rental package is worth much more than they charge for it, and all our guests had a wonderful time at the reception. Don't get sticker shock at their rental fee--it looks higher than other similar downtown Indy venues because it's truly all-inclusive. Once we did the math with all the rentals that would be necessary at the other venues we considered, we found that the Children's Museum was actually the best value...even BEFORE taking into account that the rental fee also includes two open exhibits! One of our favorite things about the Children's Museum reception was that there were so many things for our guests to do. There were areas where people could dance, where they could explore the exhibits, and quieter areas where people who just wanted to catch up with friends could sit and talk. Our all-ages crowd had an amazing time. I'd recommend the Children's Museum to anyone!

We got married at The Manor on the Children's Museum property after our original venue closed. And, honestly, I am now so happy our first place fell. Amie and Amanda with the Children's Museum were AMAZING! We contacted them about 5 months before our date, and they worked with us and made sure everything was perfect. I feel so lucky that we had Amanda with us on our wedding day. She made sure everything was ready and that the day ran smoothly. You can really tell that she loves her job and weddings! She even lent us her cake cutting set from her wedding when we realized we didn't have one. They were great. And, The Manor is an amazing venue itself. The ballroom was perfect for our smaller wedding, and it felt like we were just throwing a part in someone's wonderful old house. I really can't say enough great things about The Manor and the staff; they were great!

Having our ceremony and reception at the Children's museum was, without a doubt, the best decision we made in the planning process. Amie, Kevin, Todd, and the rest of their staff went above and beyond at every step of the way. There was nothing they couldn't or wouldn't help make happen for us. They all brought such joy and enthusiasm into the process--it was FUN working with them! We've heard from several guests that the food was the best they had ever eaten at a wedding, and all the service staff were fun and helpful. Janet, our server, made sure I was never without a drink in my hand from the moment the ceremony ended. She was a life saver! Kevin, our coordinator, was full of ideas and went out of his way to make sure the entire event went off without a hitch. Plus, it was the CHILDREN'S MUSEUM! How much more fun could that be?? I guarantee you won't regret choosing this venue.

The venue was perfect for our wedding of 70 guests. It was stunning and everyone loved it! The food was amazing and the staff is AMAZING! It truly was the best day of my life and they helped make it such :)

The second I found out my husband and I could get married with dinosaurs, we knew we had found the perfect venue for us. And then when I found out how reasonably priced it was, we were sold. Everyone who helped make our wedding the amazing night it was, was absolutely wonderful. They worked with me and made my vision better that I could've ever imagined.
Every single person who came to my wedding commented on how it was the most fun and original wedding they had ever been to.
