The Carriage House is a country wedding venue in Indian Trail, North Carolina. The property is turnkey ready for events of all sizes, and features multiples adaptable spaces. Located a short drive from Charlotte, it is an accessible events space that offers wedding parties a tranquil escape from the bustle of city life.

Facilities and Capacity

The Carriage House is a charming setting in which to host an unforgettable celebration of love. The venue is purpose-built to serve couples’ needs and offers several outdoor and indoor spaces. Couples can exchange their vow in a courtyard ceremony under the shelter of a fairy-tale gazebo. Painted in the purest white, it can be decorated in flowing drapes and garlands of flowers to add an extra touch of style. The wooded Boho area provides a secluded scene in which to stage a magical wedding photoshoot under a vibrant canopy of foliage. A large garden-party tent can be erected on the house’s manicured lawn to continue the celebration into the evening as guests mingle around the firepit’s glow. The venue staff is happy to provide rentals to add a touch of elegance to the proceedings, such as chandeliers, paper lanterns, and barnyard decorations. For those who would prefer to celebrate indoors, the Carriage House is a modern and cozy setting with rustic tones throughout. The house also features a salon-style bridal suite and spacious, which guests can avail of when getting ready or for a moment’s quiet reflection during the day. Rental of the venue includes furniture, such as tables and chairs. There is ample parking available on-site.

Wedding 4.22.23

We booked the venue for our daughter’s wedding. Chris was absolutely phenomenal! He was so amazing to work with and personable. He even bought food for the bridal party while they were getting ready. He is there for every detail and makes sure everything is perfect. I just can’t say enough nice things about him. The venue was beautiful and there was so much space and room for everyone. The bridal suite was perfect. There are so many decorations on site you can use. It was a beautiful wedding we will never forget!!!

WOW what amazing service!

When looking for a venue, we didn't know what to expect. As soon as we stepped foot in The Carriage House, we knew it was the one. Not only that but the owners are EXCELLENT! It made our choice so easy. They were extremely responsive and were willing to go above and beyond for our special day. I can't thank them enough for their hard work and dedication to making our day the best possible. If you'd looking for a wedding venue, this is it!

Dream Wedding 💙

Absolutely amazing experience! Everything you would want on your wedding day, the venue is so beautiful and versatile. Chris was so helpful with everything we needed. Gorgeous decorations were included. We had 130ish guests and still had plenty of room. Highly recommend.

Excellent venue, excellent value, excellent staff

My son was married here this past weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. The owner and staff worked tirelessly to help with what needed to be done, handle hiccups that happened along the way, and keep the parents of the bride and groom informed about anything that they needed to know, without bothering us with too much. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with leading up to the wedding and during the day before and day of. Chris was easy to work with, and very helpful in any way we needed. One of the nice things about this venue is that they have a lot of decorations that you can use so that you don't have to purchase new. We were hit with a massive lightning storm right when the ceremony was supposed to start and then with a cocktail hour vendor that didn't show up on time, and Chris helped us deal with both issues in a way that didn't disrupt the entire day for the bride and groom. I would highly recommend this venue.

Very Nice Venu

It was a battle between this venu and the one I chose finally. I love the look of it and the owners are so nice. Its a must view and keep as an option.

The Carriage House was the perfect place to have our wedding! They were kind and flexible with us. They shared potential vendors that fit into our budget to help ensure that everything fit into our vision without breaking our wallets. We also utilized their many beautiful decorations and furniture to help make our wedding as beautiful as possible. Thank you for helping us make our wedding day spectacular and beautiful!

My daughter was recently married at the Carriage House. It was the first wedding I had planned and I wasn't sure if I knew what to do. Chris and Kim were the best! They know exactly what they are doing and offered their expertise while also listening to what we wanted. They were able to provide a list of planners, vendors, etc for us to choose from. We used a planner they had suggested who knew the venue well. Chris and Kim are so personable and easy to work with and made the entire process so much easier. The venue was beautiful. The wedding was at the gazebo. They were easily able to seat 100+ guests out there. The sit down dinner for over 100 was in the tent and there was plenty of room. The reception, bar and dj were in the center room and everything flowed so well. The day of the wedding Chris and Kim seemed to be everywhere getting everything set up exactly like we wanted it. They manage to be incredibly friendly and nice while also being totally professional and efficient. The bridal room and grooms room are really nice. The chandeliers throughout are beautiful, there's even one in the tent! We had a lot of guests from out of town and they all were very happy that everything was at one location. We had some wobbly grandparents and they did well because everything is easily accessible because there are no steps or unpaved areas to deal with. Instead of a guest book we had a wooden bench for the guests to sign. That was a big hit for both the guests and the bride and groom. Chris made the bench for us and it was reasonably priced. I will highly recommend the Carriage House to all of my friends for weddings!

I can't express enough how much I enjoyed having my wedding at The Carriage House. Not just the wedding itself, but working with Kim and Chris throughout the entire process. They became like family to us. The are such an incredible couple, and go way above an beyond to make sure your day is special. The property is beautiful, very rustic. Kim is always picking up new props etc... to make a brides day extra special. The day of my wedding was seamless. I worried about absolutely NOTHING! they took care of everything. I actually sat back and enjoyed my own wedding! Who can say that???? Honestly, that's the most fun I have ever had at a wedding in my life. I highly recommend The Carriage House. It's not just a venue, it's a beautiful experience that creates lifelong memories :)

I contracted this venue for my daughter's wedding. Chris and his wife were very helpful during the entire planning process. The venue offers a great atmosphere and it is absolutely lovely and well located. We had a delighted time during the ceremony and reception.
