We love this venue because of how bright and light it is. Also nice that in the case of bad or cold weather everything can easily be accommodated inside. The staff was extremely easy to work with and get ahold of and listened to our vision while also offering suggestions based on their experience. Perfect venue!!

My husband and I had our wedding at The Blaisdell in December 2022, and it was absolutely beautiful! When we first went to the venue for a tour, Janet was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job of helping us envision our wedding in the space. We decided to book the venue immediately after our tour, and we are so glad we did! It has the bright, clean vibe that we were looking for, and was more affordable than comparable venues in the area. It’s also really customizable to make your dream wedding vision come to life!
Working with Kaira on the details for our wedding was also great! She was very helpful and responsive. I came to the walkthrough that we did about a month before the wedding with a ton of questions, and she answered them all before I could even ask! It was such a smooth, easy process on our end. We also loved that security was included, so we didn’t have to worry about anything!
The venue is so beautiful for a winter wedding, very cozy but still spacious. We took a lot of photos outside, and it looked so beautiful with a little bit of snow on the ground! We also loved the mural on the side of the building for photos.
We had our ceremony and reception in the ballroom, and the room flip during cocktail hour was totally seamless. We had a bar on the main floor and on the second floor during our cocktail hour, which was so nice to have more space for our guests and shorter lines for them to get drinks.
We got so many comments from our guests on what a beautiful venue it was, and we were very happy with our choice to get married at The Blaisdell! Thank you Kaira, Janet, and Blaisdell staff for everything!!

The Blaisdell was more than we could have imagined for our wedding. Recently renovated and constantly improving their features, the space was beyond gorgeous! The new LED lights in the ballroom made our ceremony and reception feel glamorous and distinct from one another. When we first toured the space, they made it so easy to reserve our space and provided a fantastic list of recommended vendors - many of whom we ended up hiring. Janet was fantastic in helping us get the venue booked and contracts complete. Kaira was amazing from that day forward. She accommodated our silly "can we come check such and such out" requests, took the time to get to know our parents and the wedding party, made sure every detail of our wedding was prepared, and was an absolute joy throughout all of it. The hugs were genuine as we said our thank you at the end of the night and wish we could get married again simply to use the space all over again. Even before we said "I do" we were recommending the venue and Kaira to others. Without a doubt...DO IT!

Planning a wedding can be stressful, especially when you're the bride and living in a different country. But Kaira at the Blaisdell made the experience enjoyable. She worked closely with my parents, organized visits for my aprents at the venue, coordinated FaceTime calls with me, answered all our questions quickly, and helped get the venue decorated for the big day. Overall just the best day and it wouldn't have been as smooth and lovely without the team at the Blaisdell.

We loved working with Janet and Kaira at The Blaisdell! The ladies were so flexible when we wanted to stop by to see the space when planning. The space was really able to be transformed to our vision for the day. The large space was perfect for our guests. The parlor rooms provided a lot of overflow space for people looking to get away from the music during the night. If we had to do it again we would book at The Blaisdell all over again. The night was a fairy tale, all thanks to Janet and Kaira. Thank you!

The Blaisdell is a modern mansion that offers elegance in a romantic setting. The space is gorgeous and functional at the same time with the ballroom, parlor, the suite and more! The staff are wonderful to work with and ensure that everything is handled professionally. The preferred catering list showcases vendors that offer quality food and service. Everything is to LOVE at The Blaisdell!

The Blaisdell has a lot going for them. A great staff that is responsive and willing to help and offer suggestions as you go through the wedding planning process, which was key for me. Everything we wanted/needed for a venue was included at The Blaisdell. We had a blank canvas for decorating and creating a dream space for our reception, which could not have gone better. The recommended vendor list was perfect, but they were also open to allowing us bring in a few of our own. If you need a venue in Minneapolis, this is definitely a place to look at!

We deposited funds and signed contract in Dec 2018 with Blaisdell but didn’t anticipate Coronovirus when we signed contract. Unlike other wedding venues, Blaisdell owner was inflexible re contract - we finally decided to let them keep our $4,000 and just had a wedding in a public park last week-end, and paid another venue for small wedding. We received no value from Blaisdell - Owner conveyed with flowery language his sincere empathy/sympathy in this time of crisis — but his main objective was keeping our deposit. Be careful with this vendor.
