The Beach Club

We booked with the Beach Club for our November 2023 destination wedding and it was an absolute DREAM! We decided to have the ceremony and reception in the Coast Room looking over the Gulf and the pictures it made were just perfect. Cari Blanton was an amazing coordinator and answered all 38247893409 questions I had leading up to our big day. She always made herself available, and I am so appreciative of what all she made happen for us!

The food was AMAZING! Lots of great feedback from the guests. Thank you to Cari and the chef for arranging a tasting a few months before the big day to make sure we got to have the perfect menu! It helped a lot making our menu!

The pricing was amazing for all that we got! The Beach Club provided all of the linens, plates, cups, silverware, chairs, tables, and the chairs and set up for the ceremony too! Huge budget saver. The open bar with the top tier liquor/wines was priced very reasonably and I know all of our guests appreciated that too (haha!)

The staff that were there at our ceremony took such great care of us. They had drinks flowing, they were smiling, professional, and cleaned up messes quicker than I have ever seen any body move before! They took great care of us the night before at our rehearsal dinner too, allowing us to use the space at their other restaurant/bar to have a good time with friends and family.

The Beach Club is one of our favorite vacation spots. We got married in the non-peak season so pricing for rooms was so much more reasonable for us all. The room we stayed in for our wedding week was immaculate. We got to enjoy the views a little longer for our extended honeymoon on the beach.

So much bang for your buck. Such great staff. This wedding was more than we could have ever have asked for! Thank you to everyone who made it possible!

My husband and I planned our wedding at The Beach Club from 10+ hours away and it was truly the smoothest process with how helpful and experienced their staff was. Cari Blaton was our primary contact and she was so responsive and professional. We had a lot of requests and she was truly catered our every need. As a bride with dietary restrictions, catering was a huge fear of mine on my wedding day. The Chef was so knowledgeable and was able to modified our entire menu around my diet. Their banquet staff was so professional, efficient, and enjoyable to work with. Our guests were so complimentary of their stay, the wedding, and the food. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding or a better wedding team. We highly recommend having your big day at The Beach Club!

Beach Club was the perfect venue for our destination beach wedding. Cari Blanton was absolutely amazing. She made the entire process very easy from start to finish. Even when circumstances came up that were outside of her control during the planning process she handled it extremely professionally and did everything she possibly could to make our day perfect. Cari was extremely easy to work with and helped to accommodate us numerous times to make our wedding vision come true. Beach Club was extremely flexible overall in incorporating different ideas we had. It was a perfect venue for keeping the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all on site which made things extremely easy for our guests! The food at both the rehearsal dinner and the reception were great. Having tables, chairs, catering in house made planning much easier as well. The Coast restaurant was absolutely gorgeous as is so we were able to save and not overdo on florals and other decorations. I would not change a single thing about our day it was great thanks to Beach Club and Cari!!

We could not have picked a better location for our beach wedding. Jenna was very professional and timely in assisting us. All staff was exceptional. I would recommend this venue to anyone considering a wedding in this area...just perfect!!

We recently got married at the Beach Club during a sunset ceremony on the beach and had a great experience. We made our decision based on a combination of long term accomadations for different sized families (Awesome!), ceremony (We wanted it on the beach), and reception space (It needed to be indoors because it was August).

My event coordinator was extremely responsive and helpful in guiding me to plan our destination event for 50 adults and children. Their preferred vendor list was exactly what I needed, options but not too many.

The days leading up to the event the weather was HORRIBLE so they patiently and expertly discussed our options and our Plan B with us and were supportive down to the last moment when we decided to move forward with the original beach ceremony we had planned. And it was perfect!

There were definitely bumps in the road along the way, there will be with every event, but I feel Cari and her Beach Club team used these as oppurtunities to show they cared about us, our event and its success.

Absolutely beautiful venue at sunset! Use of the verranda made all the difference in the world. Food was fantastic!

The Beach Club's food is PHENOMENAL. They have so many choices for weddings, from a laid-back tropical buffet to a full sit-down 5-course course meal. We opted for the tropical luau buffet with a few changes, which they were happy to do for us. My only complaint is that The Beach Club requires that you use them for catering. So because there is no competition, the prices are a little steep. But the quality is great and we got compliments on the food all night.

Venue not worth the price!!! Price for food per person was not accurate. I placed my menu order for wedding than several days later they informed me menu selected $10 higher per person than the price I based my decision off. Also, deck for reception smaller than expected!

Working with the Beach Club was very difficult from the beginning. I have grown up spending my summers at the Beach Club, and my parents even own a condo there, I grew up dreaming of getting married at the Beach Club.

We knew that I would get married at the Beach Club, so the the day after I got engaged, my mom called them to try and work out a date. It was frustration from that moment on. We left voicemails, emails and phone messages, trying to get a hold of someone so that we could make arrangements and put down a deposit. My mom drove down to the Beach Club from Atlanta after not being able to get a hold of anyone for a few days. When she arrived, she literally had to hunt their event manager down in order to give her the deposit. This lack of communication throughout the entire process.
A few weeks later, the woman that we had been working with took a leave of absence, but no one bothered to tell us. No one from the Beach Club was checking her emails or voicemails. There were issues with the contract that we needed to confirm and adjust, but again no one was available to us.
A month and a half before the wedding we went down to finalize everything with our wedding coordinator and the Beach Club. We found out that the woman who we were originally working with had not communicated anything about the wedding to the new team. We had to start from scratch. We were apparently the first seated dinner poolside that the beach club had done. They tried to talk me out of things because it would be too difficult for them, but eventually they yielded.
My wedding day and reception did run smoothly, but I know it was because of my wedding coordinator. The beach club was unorganized, and had the manager cut the cake - we ran out of cake for our guests. Also, they tried to sneak things in on the final bill, so double check your contract.
I could go on and on, but basically beware!
