Rachel was a joy to work with! From our first interaction all the way until the gallery was delivered- she was on top of it all. Her attention to detail, creativity, and passion for photography was felt through the whole experience. She was also very organized which helped with the flow of the whole wedding- I am very pleased with our pictures and the experience that Rachel provided. As a mother, wanting my daughter to have the wedding of her dreams when the time came, has always been a dream of mine as well. Rae West Photography certainly played a huge part in making that come true! Rachel was always available and with us every step of the way from our planning meeting, numerous emails and phone calls, looking at the venue, to even being there for the rehearsal. She listened to and made sure we got every special photograph that we wanted, and even some we didn’t know that would be incredible. Her day-of-timeline was extremely detailed and, in fact, even better than our wedding planner’s! Words can't explain what an extraordinary photographer Rachel is! My engagement, boudoir, and wedding galleries have all far exceeded what I ever thought was able to be captured with a camera. I am able to look back at the photos she captured and relive those moments SO clearly. Not only does she have a special talent with a camera, but she is an even better person! She took time to get to know my fiancé and I on a personal level and she checked in with us multiple times throughout the wedding process. She asked questions that made my vision come to life, and she carried out the visions for us without hesitation. She made the photo process so fun! Rae West Photography is by far the best decision I made when hiring vendors for my wedding. I can not put into words how amazing this woman is as a person and as a photographer. She is so easy and fun to work with and she is seriously one of the the best photographers I have ever seen. I knew she was good from her photos online, but she absolutely blew me away with her artistic eye and ability to capture everything in a photo. My wedding album is amazing, from the pictures of the decor, to the portraits of me and my husband, to all of the fun pictures at our reception, they are perfect and captured the day exactly how I remember it in my mind. She was so kind and just became part of the family after our day together. She went above and beyond to ensure I was okay and that all of us had good, photo ready smiles. She gave us tips and tricks to make every photo look amazing from how to stand, to when to look etc.
Again, I never thought I’d have magazine worthy photos of my wedding but I absolutly do! The photos that Rachel took throughout the day are just the most special and beautiful thing ever that I will cherish for the rest of my life. She is amazing and you will be so glad you hired her, I promise!
