The A Section is a Jazz and World music band from Los Angeles. With members from Switzerland, California and Germany, they bring European charm with a relaxed California flare to every event they play. With ages ranging from 19 to 23 and each member having gradutated from the esteemed Los Angeles College of Music, The A Section is equipped with the skills necessary to play authentic Jazz and World music as well as converting contemporary songs into Bossa, Samba, Swing or Ballads.

The band's front man Nico De Las hails from Switzerland, and sings in French, Creole, Spanish and Portugese songs as well as English.

The A Section is a regular fixture in West Hollywood at the Abbey Food & Bar's 'Saturday Jazz Brunch.'
