Facilities and Capacity
Temple Emanuel has a number of facilities where you can host different phases of your wedding. Ceremonies under the chuppah are held in the sanctuary, a cavernous and atmospheric space that can seat as many as 715 people. Several banquet halls are also available for your cocktail hour and reception. The largest of these is the Adelson Community Hall combined with the Benjamin Vestry, which together holds 350 for dining and dancing. These rooms can also be separated to accommodate more intimate celebrations. Additional halls include the Leventhal-Sidman Community Court, the Reisman Hall, the Brezniak Patio, the Gann Chapel, and two meeting rooms. Event rooms can be fully transformed with the décor of your choosing to suit your tastes and preferences.

Services Offered
The rental of the venue comes with access to an Events Manager, who will work closely with you to plan every detail of your big day. In addition, Temple Emanuel is a conservative synagogue that follows kashrut as a basic tenet of Judaism. If you rent the venue for your reception dinner, you must adhere to the temple’s standards of kashrut, regardless of your personal practices. This allows all Jewish community members to feel comfortable eating in the space. In light of this, the team provides a list of approved kosher caterers in the Boston area that can prepare and serve on the premises. Your booking will also include tables, chairs, help with setup and cleanup, and parking.
