Facilities and Capacity
Nestled in the beautifully landscaped grounds of Mount Auburn Cemetery is Bigelow Chapel. This historic structure was built in 1847 and features breathtaking stained glass and architecture. Inside, the chapel can accommodate ceremonies of up to 60 guests. Beyond the main space, this building features a Gathering Wing, perfect for intimate gatherings and dining for up to 40 people. The Bigelow Lawn is also available seasonally for outdoor ceremonies and receptions of 120 guests. Completed in 1898, Story Chapel has a 15th-century English countryside style. Inside, you will find seating for 120 and a historic organ, ideal for including live music in your wedding. Additionally, you can host your celebration at the Asa Gray Garden and Hazel Dell, both a short walking distance from Story Chapel.
