Hands down the reason our wedding was such a hit! To this day the relatives talk about Ted as if he is a cousin,"how's that Ted, he's such a good guy." Anyways, Ted did our ceremony, complete with a special unity sand service and custom introduction. He also MC'd the reception and his band played the whole night! (three piece option, there is so many options to truly fit your needs) Ted was so professional and even went as far as having an interview at a very nice restaurant in order to ask us specific questions to customize our wedding day. He asked us things like, "How did you meet? What is the Liz and Paul story? What is your favorite holiday? Do we have any hobbies or pets?" These little information gems were then sprinkled throughout the entire day. It really is what made the entire event come together. Everyone really got a feel for who we were as a couple.
So to break it down. Ted met with us for a, "get to know you interview". He kept in close contact via email and phone, to ensure that if we had any questions or concerns he was there for us every step of the way. He even talked to my vendors to make sure that everyone would be on the same page on the big day. He put up with me changing things like venues last minute, long story. He did a custom ceremony because we are not really religious but had specific things we wanted included. He paid attention to detail and really captured who my husband and I am as a couple. Oh yeah, he also kept me on time track because, let's just say i'm fashionably late to everything! After the ceremony the band set up and started to get the party going. We opted for the three piece option which was Ted on guitar and vocals, a bass player, and drums. It was the right price and size for our event. (we had about 170 ppl) You can add keys and even a sax to turn the romance on and even another guitar! He also did an amazing job running the entire evening. From the custom intros, to the amusing toasts. Ted made the day amazing!

Ted Garber and his band did a FANTASTIC job at our wedding. Ted provided our ceremony music, which was perfect for our riverfront wedding. He emcees the entire reception and keeps everyone engaged. He had everyone laughing and really put some personal touches on our event. His band is also great. A fuse blew towards the end of our reception (Elk Manor's fault, not the band's) and the band just kept on playing and went into a second line until the venue manager fixed it. I can't recommend Ted enough.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Ted and his band. Ted is an amazing musician and em-cee, and put in a ton of effort to make sure that our wedding music was a success. We first had Ted play acoustic guitar for our wedding ceremony. He played some beautiful pieces that went beautifully with our outdoor reception. He was even caring enough to lend our readers a microphone and stand. We then transitioned into cocktail hour, where Ted continued to charm our guests with his talents. Ted and his band were the highlight of our wedding, and we are still hearing compliments about how wonderful the music was! Ted not only led a fantastic band, but he also em-ce'ed the show to ensure that guests were entertained and organized. He ensured that guests focused their attention on us, during those special moments. He and his band barely took a break, and their energy radiated in the banquet hall. Our guests knew that they were having a great time, which allowed our guests to have a great time. I am so impressed with Ted and his band, for their professionalism, thoughtfulness, and musical talent. When I think of the success of our wedding, I think how lucky we were to have Ted and his band with us! THANK YOU!

We first saw Ted perform at a friend’s wedding last September. I literally went up to him that night and asked for his card and we didn’t think for even a second about using anyone else for our wedding music. He is absolutely amazingly talented. It’s fairly difficult to even describe just how great he is, but if you want a wedding where the dance floor is PACKED with guests dancing and singing, you need to book Ted! One of my husband’s uncles was so sweaty from dancing all night that my mom thought someone had thrown a drink all over him! The thing about Ted is that he doesn’t just get up there and play his guitar and sing. He literally puts on a concert just for you and your guests. He rocks out, he jams, he gets really into it! He’s an extremely talented musician and a fabulous emcee.

Aside from his musical talent, I was extremely impressed with how organized Ted was. I am extremely type A and pride myself on my organization, so the fact that he impressed me on this point says something huge. He planned every minute of our wedding from start to finish and adjusted things however we felt necessary. I loved that there was a structure to the night and that it was meticulously well thought out.

We had warned Ted that one of my husband’s uncles is a huge music lover and would most likely try to get up on stage and sing with him. Sure enough, Uncle Brian proved us right. I glanced at Ted at once point and Uncle Brian was up there singing and dancing along with him. Ted just went with it and allowed him to do his thing, which was so sweet and accommodating. This is now a great family story we will retell over & over. Our guests have continually told us how awesome our musician was and another of my husband’s uncles wants to book him for his NY restaurant.

We have had so many compliments on how fun and awesome our wedding was and I attribute the majority of this to Ted. You will not be disappointed if you use him as your wedding entertainment!
