Julie at Tasty is clear about what they do and don't do. She doesn't decorate wedding cakes in any kind of fancy way. However, she did frosting match to my swatch with help from the Internet and delivered a delicious top layer to my cupcake tower that was gluten free. We then decorated it with flowers and it was very nice. The buttercream frosting was so good that people found the extra tub she packed in case of a need for touch up and were eating it by the spoonful. People who don't even like gluten free cake had nice things to say about it, and others who had gluten sensitivities were thrilled that they could have cake at a wedding. I kind of loved the casual Ann Arborness of working with Julie. I dropped off a swatch in her mailbox. We picked up the cake at the farmer's market. The whole process was just happily local and the cake was stellar.
