From the first time I reached out to Tara, all of her communication was very professional and her contract process was straightforward & clear. She took the time to ask questions and get to know me during our trial so we were already very comfortable working together on the wedding day. One of my bridesmaids also has a lot of sensitivities to ingredients used in make up products, and Tara was incredible about checking things in her kit and making recommendations. When I was looking for a makeup artist, I was honestly a little nervous — I don’t wear makeup often, and I wasn’t sure how certain looks would work with my Filipino features. But from our very first conversation, Tara completely put me at ease. We bonded on a cultural level, and she understood exactly how to enhance my natural features while keeping everything comfortable and true to me.

For my trial, we went with a soft glam look. By the wedding day, I was thinking about maybe doing less eyeshadow, a more dramatic lash, and a pinker blush — and when I saw Tara that morning, she suggested those exact things to me! She took the words right out of my mouth. It felt like we were on the same wavelength. A wedding morning is already so stressful, but having that moment with her definitely set the tone for the day. I knew I could trust that I was going to look amazing.

On the day of the wedding, my makeup was perfect. I got married in July and my makeup lasted through everything — the garden photos in the humidity, all the dancing and happy tears, and even eating all the delicious food! Despite it all, my makeup still looked fresh and flawless from start to finish.

I absolutely loved how everything turned out. Tara made me feel confident, beautiful, and still like myself. When I got my wedding photos and video back I was surprised - I looked even better than I had remembered! 😂 I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I can’t recommend her enough!

Tara was an EXCEPTIONAL MUA. She was professional throughout the whole process, and was able to execute my look and vision for my wedding perfectly. I was complimented all day and am still getting complimented on how effortless my makeup looked on my wedding. My favorite part? I did not cake up and the makeup lasted ALL day and night, even through dancing and the after party.

I got married in Westchester, NY this past September, and I truly cannot emphasize enough how Tara set the tone for my entire day with her calming, professional, and kind presence. She made me feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt in my life, while still staying completely true to me.

She offered amazing advice, understood what I wanted even when I couldn’t fully articulate it, and made me feel like the best version of myself.

She also went above and beyond for my mom’s makeup and hair, taking such great care to make sure she also looked and felt beautiful. My makeup stayed flawless all day and night (even after hours of dancing!) and looked perfect in every photo.

Tara was the absolute best. When you hire Tara, you're getting an artist!! It's so hard to do makeup that looks natural but still elevated and lasts all night long. Tara NAILED it. She'll bring out the most beautiful parts of your face. She also has a great, calm, positive, and warm energy, which is exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. Tara was amazing from beginning to end. She was able to work with my wife when it came to hair and makeup ( she never wears makeup or does her hair) My wife felt so confident on our wedding day as well as myself! I underestimated how much makeup I wanted during the trial. The day of, I told her my concerns and she did an amazing job listening to what I wanted differently. I felt so amazing on my wedding day but also I felt like myself which isn’t always the case when you have someone doing your hair and makeup. If I could give her ten stars I would!!
