I was most nervous to book a makeup artist for my wedding, but Tara eased all of my nerves. When I met her for my trial, I was pleased with how much she paid attention to detail. Every step of the way, she made sure to fix any part of the makeup that I did not like or was unsure of. At the end of my trial, I asked for an overall brighter look, and she took extra time out of her day to fix the makeup to my liking. She was so patient with my indecisiveness and just a kind person overall. My mom is a tough critique, but even she was in love with how all of our makeup looks turned out (mine, my mom, my mother in law, and my sister). Overall, Tara was super easy to communicate with, flexible, and made me feel like a beauitful bride on my wedding day. Highly recommend booking with Tara for your bridal makeup! She is so worth it!

Tara and her team were AMAZING!! I spent a lot of time researching soft glam makeup artists for my wedding, since I typically don't wear a lot of makeup and found Tara.
Tara was extremely accommodating from the beginning. She was flexible with adjusting my contract as more and more people opted into getting their makeup done. The day I was meant to come in to get my trial, I got pinkeye and she didn't make me feel bad for having to reschedule. When it came to my trial, Tara was super easy to talk to and made me feel at ease. She gave me exactly what I asked for in my trial.

Come wedding day, I realized I wanted to change a few things from the trial and Tara did an amazing job adjusting on the fly. All of my bridesmaid (and bridesman) were super happy with their makeup as well. Tara stayed on schedule and kept calm in the chaos of the getting ready suite. I could not recommend Tara enough for your wedding day. I loved my glam and it lasted all night long.

Tara was the perfect makeup artist for my wedding! I barely wear makeup for even special occasions and felt immediately at ease with Tara. I’m a private person, so please excuse the lack of photos in this public review, but Tara’s work is truly incredible!

I had been a bridesmaid in many weddings before my own wedding day, so I had lots of prior experiences with being “dolled up” for a wedding party. This felt nothing like that - I didn’t feel layers of makeup caking my face. I have chronic acne - which of course was in full force on my wedding day from all the stress of wedding planning, but you couldn't see any of it by the time Tara finished! Instead, I looked like an elevated version of myself on my wedding day.

I had a large bridal party and Tara and her team (Amy & Allie - thank you so much!) did a fantastic job of making sure all of my bridesmaids and family who were getting makeup done felt comfortable and got the looks they wanted. Everyone looked truly stunning all day and the process for doing makeup for 11 people plus the bride felt like a breeze, even though I’m sure it took lots of careful coordination and planning on Tara’s part to make sure we all were ready on time, including touch ups.

Lastly but certainly not least. I slipped and fell a few months before the wedding and managed to give myself a concussion, which I was still recovering from on my wedding day. Despite this less-than-ideal situation, Tara helped me re-arrange the morning-of makeup schedule so I could include more rest breaks to save my energy for later. It all worked out and I was still able to dance the night away. Tara provided a great touch up kit (which I didn’t end up needing but which felt like a great security blanket to have just in case). And removal at the end of the day was easy too - she gave me just the right makeup remover I needed to make sure I could get my fake eyelashes off at the end of the night! I truly felt like a princess the whole day and Tara and her team were essential to helping make my wedding vision come true! Thanks so much Tara!

I cannot recommend Tara enough! She did both my makeup and my mother’s makeup and hair for my wedding, and we were absolutely blown away by how beautiful everything turned out. From the very beginning, she was professional, caring, and truly listened to what we wanted.

One thing that really stood out was her expertise with Asian features. She enhanced our natural beauty so flawlessly while still making us feel completely like ourselves. The makeup photographed beautifully, lasted all day and night, and looked stunning both in person and in pictures.

Tara is the absolute best!!! I hired her as my MUA for my wedding day, and everything about the experience was perfect. From the first time I reached out to Tara, all of her communication was very professional and her contract process was straightforward & clear. She took the time to ask questions and get to know me during our trial so we were already very comfortable working together on the wedding day. One of my bridesmaids also has a lot of sensitivities to ingredients used in make up products, and Tara was incredible about checking things in her kit and making recommendations. Couldn't recommend her enough!

When I was looking for a makeup artist, I was honestly a little nervous — I don’t wear makeup often, and I wasn’t sure how certain looks would work with my Filipino features. But from our very first conversation, Tara completely put me at ease. We bonded on a cultural level, and she understood exactly how to enhance my natural features while keeping everything comfortable and true to me.

For my trial, we went with a soft glam look. By the wedding day, I was thinking about maybe doing less eyeshadow, a more dramatic lash, and a pinker blush — and when I saw Tara that morning, she suggested those exact things to me! She took the words right out of my mouth. It felt like we were on the same wavelength. A wedding morning is already so stressful, but having that moment with her definitely set the tone for the day. I knew I could trust that I was going to look amazing.

On the day of the wedding, my makeup was perfect. I got married in July and my makeup lasted through everything — the garden photos in the humidity, all the dancing and happy tears, and even eating all the delicious food! Despite it all, my makeup still looked fresh and flawless from start to finish.

I absolutely loved how everything turned out. Tara made me feel confident, beautiful, and still like myself. When I got my wedding photos and video back I was surprised - I looked even better than I had remembered! 😂 I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I can’t recommend her enough!

Tara was an EXCEPTIONAL MUA. She was professional throughout the whole process, and was able to execute my look and vision for my wedding perfectly. I was complimented all day and am still getting complimented on how effortless my makeup looked on my wedding. My favorite part? I did not cake up and the makeup lasted ALL day and night, even through dancing and the after party.
