I am photographer and an Art Director, but above all I am a mom. I studied visual communication at Kendall College of Art and Design, however I was seeing the world through my viewfinder long before I ever dreamed of pursuing a career in Art Direction or Photography. Now both passions work hand-in-hand to give me the creative vision to capture your real-life moments and specials occasions with an artistic flare. But becoming a mom has showed me just how important it is to capture all those special moments in time and made me realize that I not only want to capture my own family’s special moments, I want to capture all of yours as well. One of my favorite quotes came form a photographer my husband knows. He said “a photograph is like a receipt for a memory” and he couldn’t have said it better. Because at the end of the day there is nothing more gratifying then hearing that I captured the true personality of my subjects and recorded that special memory for you to hold on to for a lifetime. That’s what makes this the best job I’ve ever had!

I have a photojournalistic approach and I typically shoot on-location in natural light settings. I am drawn to interesting color, light, texture and creative composition. However, most of all I enjoy capturing the true essence of my subjects; pure love, happiness, joy and even the stubborn yet playful demeanors of my youngest clients. Naturally I tend to look for the little moments. The moments that you may miss or just not pay attention too because these portraits will be the ones you treasure the most.

I shoot primarily on location in both Michigan and Ohio, however I’m always up for traveling beyond those boarders to photograph your special life events.
