Swiss pastries is a wholesale bakery in Rockville, MD, and thus is not featured on a lot of the larger wedding websites. We were very happy with the service and the cake.

Unlike many of the bakeries that do tons of wedding cakes, Swiss Pastries did not require a reservation months ahead, nor was it incredibly expensive.

We spoke with Martha, who was very helpful. She told us our options (not as many as some bakeries, but they have all the staples), and we went in to get a sample of cake.

We sent Martha a picture that my wife had found online that reflected how we wanted our cake to look. "No problem," Martha said. She made the cake and delivered it to our venue. There is a modest delivery fee, which she waived. All in, it was about half the cost of some other bakeries, and much more delicious.

Highly recommended.

Swiss Pastries is affordable with friendly service. Not to mention, the cake was delicious. We had 200 guests at our wedding and so many of them were complementing how scrumptious the cake tasted. Our wedding was a beach theme and Swiss Pastries really captured that look with their cake design.

Not only was our wedding cake delicious it was absolutely beautiful. We also used Swiss Pastries for my daughter's wedding and an anniversary party for 120 people. Highly recommend. Suggestion, order a smaller version of the same cake to sample.

AMAZING! I be eating cake until I grow right out the wedding dress. But it tastes so good!

We went to them for two cakes; the wedding cake and the grooms cake.

We took them a photo of a cake we liked, so they had an idea what we were looking for. AND THEY NAILED IT! They even changed it in ways to make it personal for us.

The grooms cake we were more vague on. We told them he's from Texas, so they put a big map of texas on there, with a boot and gun (semi-funny) on there in icing. It was amazing. I didnt imagine they'd do all that.

And both cakes were DELICIOUS. We tasted several cakes before choosing them and we definitely made the right choice!
