The Sweets Bakehouse team is amazing. They are so kind, flexible, and really helped us decide on desserts for our wedding day. We didn't want a big cake and wanted to instead just do a table of small desserts. When we met with Tara we discussed the kinds of desserts we wanted and our budget, which she had no problem telling us exactly what she could do for that amount. She also even suggested doing a small cake within our budget, just for a cake cutting, which we weren't originally going to do. Turns out they are now some of my favorite pictures from the wedding.
Everything was of course magical and delicious, and I still think about those desserts all the time.

Tara and her cakes are so yummy. We set up a cake tasting and chose 4 flavors and 4 fillings. She had them set up for when we arrived and let us know which ones are which and which would be best with each filling. We chose the Almond flavor with Raspberry filling and Vanilla flavor with Oreo filling. They were our favorite and I am going to order them again so we can relive our memory of the yummy cake again. I went through Sweets Bakehouse for my wedding cake & cupcakes and they were absolutely delicious! I have celiac disease, and the GF wedding cake they made was to die for - couldn’t even tell! I ordered regular, non GF cupcakes for guests and they were all raving about them. Side note - I am from Ohio, so when scheduling a tasting it was very smooth and they worked with times that worked for me when I was in town, even squeezing me in during a very busy holiday season. Absolutely amazing customer service, quick in responding, and wonderful desserts (especially if you are gluten free!).

Not only are Tara's deserts to die for but she is also extremely talented. My husband and I flew down to Florida last summer for our catering tasting and also did a tasting with Tara while we were in town. She was super friendly and very easy to work with. She and her team were also great at keeping in communication with us. She took an inspirational photo I shared with her and created an amazing masterpiece for our wedding cake/cupcake tower. My only wish was that she wasn't located in Florida but instead here in Chicago because I would order from her all the time!!!!

Tara is hands down one of the best! She brought our vision of our wedding cake to life, and not to mention it tasted AMAZING. We cannot recommend her enough, she is an all around joy to work with!

Tara and her team took my vision and made it come to life but even better than I ever could have hoped for. I knew I wanted a dessert table for our wedding and I had a few creative aspects that I wanted included in the styling, but it wasn't as simple as "boho", "romantic" "rustic", etc. Her team asked me the right questions to get a feel for what I was looking for and when it came to life, I am not even embarrassed to say I got teary eyed when I saw it. For all that we got, pricing was extremely reasonable and most importantly everything was DELICIOUS. I'm upset that I didn't get to try every dessert but I am proud to admit I ate that leftover cake after every meal for 4 days lol. I may have to plan a pickup with Sweets Bakehouse whenever I'm in the Sarasota area now. Highly recommend!

We ordered not only my bridal shower cake from Sweets Bakehouse, but also my wedding cake! The 4 tier wedding cake was amazing! We chose lemon lavender with blueberry filling and it was absolutely delicious. Our one year anniversary just passed and we preserve the top tier to share and it was just as delicious as on our wedding day! We will be using Sweets Bakehouse for every occasion!

Tara with Sweets Bakehouse did a great job on our wedding cake and it was exactly what we envisioned! If you're purchasing a wedding cake, definitely do a tasting because all of her flavors are amazing. We ordered a three-tiered cake with both orange cake with vanilla mousse and coconut cake with a pineapple filling. It was so easy working with Tara and we highly recommend Sweets Bakehouse!

I needed a vegan cake for my wedding and I was referred to Tara, Sweets Bakehouse, for her ability to make a delicious vegan cake. I am SO glad I met her!! I knew from the moment I saw the lovely tasting she set up for us (like seriously she set up the tasting table like a gorgeous Boho wedding!) that we were in for a treat. I cannot stress enough how sweet Tara is! And OMG THE CAKE!!!! Our non vegan friends and family were in love with this cake!! It was the first time they had vegan cake and wow they were surprised! And one of my bridesmaids ate so much cake I’m not sure how many slices she had taken with her to go lol!! Absolutely delicious!! Best vegan cake I have ever had and I will definitely be ordering cakes from Tara every chance I get! The cake itself was also absolutely beautiful. We got the vanilla peanut butter, and to be honest here I’m still thinking about that cake. You will not be disappointed with Sweets Bakehouse!!
