Hometown Desserts made a beautiful wedding cake and a stunning array of bite-sized desserts for our wedding reception that were a huge hit! The beach-themed cake and shell-shaped cookies were simply beautiful - and delicious. Cindy is so easy to work with, and even made our cake and special cupcakes gluten free as my stepdaughter has celiac.

Hometown Desserts made planning an absolute breeze!! They were the sweetest people and made the vision that was stuck in my head, come to life! Their recommendations were spot on and the cake was GORGEOUS!! She was so flexible and made me a little less stressed! She worked with our florist (Blooms by the beach) to get flowers that matched our floral arrangements without us having to do anything! Our guests were RAVING about the cake and are already saving the info to pop in on their next visit to the island! We had key lime (bottom), Chocolate (middle) and strawberry (top) with buttercream frosting. She also made me a raspberry cheese cake since I don't actually care for cake in general that way I also had dessert! :) Phenomenal service.

Cindy was simply wonderful from our first tasting to providing all our delicious wedding desserts on the day of. She was true to the inspiration pictures I provided, and was quick to respond to emails and phone calls. Besides LOOKING amazing, all our goodies were very yummy and we did not have very much left over to take home, The price was very reasonable for the quality of service, and I would highly recommend Hometown Desserts to any bride.

Hometown Desserts is the best cake around. Cindy makes the tastiest/moistest cakes (keylime coconut and coconut are my favorites), and I can't get enough of them. Everytime I'm in Anna Maria, I have to stop by and get some.

We had cookies and cupcakes for our rehearsal dinner, a hilarious Family Guy cake for the welcome reception, and of course, the most stunning multi-tiered cake for our wedding. Hometown Desserts was one of our venues preferred wedding vendors, after hiring them I completely understand why! We met with Cindy about 6 months before our wedding with a out of the normal request. My husband and I love cupcakes, when we first started dating we would go on "cupcake adventures" to different bakeries in New England just to try their cupcakes. After moving to Florida we continued that adventure. For our wedding my husband suggested us having a build your own cupcake bar! We messaged several vendors who were unable to see our vision. When we explained to Cindy what we wanted to do she was excited to help us! We chose 3 different flavor cakes, 2 frostings and a variety of toppings. Guests would come up to Cindy during our reception and literally create their own cupcake! We not only got great compliments on the idea but also they quality of the cupcakes! About a month before our wedding we also found out the baker scheduled to make our mini cake was unable to do so. I called Cindy and she was able to accommodate our last minute request! Our cake was key lime with a buttercream frosting and it was delicious! I can't wait to go back for our anniversary cake! Cindy's service is great as well as her pastries. Friendly staff and accommodating. We sat down and had a tasting, delicious cakes and a wide variety of options. We told them what we wanted and they worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted. Made sure that we didnt purchase more than we needed. Provided the tiers to set up the cakes and cupcakes and went to the venue the day off to set the cake you for us. They even made a small cake for us to take home and save for our one year anniversary. Amazing experience!
