Working with Alison leading up to the wedding was effortless. She was so easy to work through with all our questions and menu selections. We were able to have exactly what we wanted with no issues at all! The day of the wedding Brooke and her team were patient, kind and so hospitable. They even managed to feed me quesadilla while take photos during cocktail hour! Everyone raved (and still is) about the food and helpfulness of Sweet Lucy’s! Would recommend to all!

Sweet Lucy's was the first vendor we booked. As repeat customers to the restaurant, the moment we got engaged I called them and asked if they did weddings. Allison sent me back a huge packet of venues that they have worked with before. I went through every single venue online & picked out a handful that we went to visit. So thanks to Sweet Lucy's we found our beautiful historic wedding venue. Okay, now the food .. obviously UNREAL! I got so many compliments on the food, I heard "Best wedding food I ever had" multiple times through the night. My husband had a co worker (who was not at our wedding) come up to him at work to say that he heard our wedding food was awesome. They provided us with all the staffing, bartenders and servers as well as our open bar, cocktail hour and reception food and drink. They are fantastic and I can't wait to use them again.

This review is specifically for Sweet Lucy's wedding catering.

We got married on 10/7/17 and opted for drop off catering from sweet lucy's instead of full service. We are STILL getting comments on how good the food was. Guests liked it so much that they were going through catering menus during dinner considering hiring sweet lucy's for their own events. I love the food so much that I often go back to eat, and I feel lucky that I can re-experience my wedding food any time I want to. Their catering is just as good as the food they serve at their restaurant.

Also, throughout the planning process, everyone I talked to at Sweet Lucy's about catering was SO nice and helpful. In particular, I emailed extensively with Alison, who was SO patient with me as I figured out minute details, such as last minute guest count changes and whether or not I wanted an additional side. She also helped me figure out how much of certain dishes to get for my guest count.

Overall, Sweet Lucy's provided delicious food and professional and helpful service. Plus, as a bonus, barbeque food is VERY affordable for a wedding, but the food was high quality. I was worried BBQ might come across as cheap to guests, but everyone raved and it tasted better than some of the high end catering we tried. I would hire them again if I had another wedding to plan :)

Sweet Lucy's catered our wedding last month at Rose Bank Winery. The food was AMAZING. The servers were friendly. All our guests loved the food and enjoyed having BBQ as something different for a wedding.

Wow! My husband and I decided early on that we did not want to have a traditional reception for our wedding. We wanted a laid-back atmosphere, but didn't want to compromise the quality of the food we had for our wedding. We have eaten at Sweet Lucy's for over three years and when we decided BBQ was the style food we wanted to serve at our wedding, Sweet Lucy's was our first choice. I was a little apprehensive because we decided to go with the delivered catering option. Not only did Sweet Lucy's do a great job on the day of the wedding, they (especially Brooke) were extremely flexible and helpful leading up to the wedding. We chose the pulled chicken, smoked kielbasa, and smoked salmon along with garlic mashed potatoes, creamy spinach, and mac and cheese. Our guests could not stop talking about the food. Almost every single person that mentioned the food basically said the same thing, "This is the best wedding food ever. Thank you so much for this food. This is what every wedding should serve." We had plenty of food and some of our guests even came over for leftovers the next day! I would chose them all over again and highly recommend them for anyone planning a DIY wedding or BBQ style food. The cornbread is amazing!

By far the best BBQ in the area. Brooke and Sweet Lucy's does a great job and our guests loved the food. We had ribs, pulled chicken and pulled pork and sides. We have tried alot of other BBQ places in the city and every time we go to Sweet Lucy's its awesome so we had to have them for our wedding. Reasonably priced and delish:) They also were great at making sure we ate that night (we literally sat down and had a plate in front of us) and we also hired them for cleanup etc and that was good too.

All I can say is that the compliments for the food we had at the wedding began during cocktail hour, and now more than a month later, are still coming. Brooke and her team did a fantastic job with the food, presentation, and service. The prep that was done on-site added to the overall feel of our wedding. We had a couple minor issues on the table end of things (plates were not bussed often enough and water glasses were left empty) but this is likely due to a miscommunication of who was responsible for what.

It was not the standard food that people have at weddings which I believe our guests really appreciated. Everything was delicious! We are fortunate that we don't live too far from the actual restaurant so that we can go back and enjoy it again.
