Brian designed our dream cake for our October Friday the 13th wedding. We went in with some ideas, bits and pieces from multiple photos and what was created blew our minds. Everyone was speechless when it came out. Aside from the delicious taste of the cake itself the details and time that was poured into it is one that we truly appreciate and love. We been to the shop multiple times before the wedding just to grab some goodies because everything is tasty and above the typical/traditional desserts you’d expect. Highly recommended bakery for sure.

We were blown away by the utter beauty of our wedding cake! We went into Sweet Karma Desserts with an idea and a few photos and let them take creative lead. The cake presented on our wedding day was more gorgeous than we could have imagined. Everyone at our wedding said it was the most beautiful cake! And was so delicious too! Thank you to Sweet Karma. They rock!

Sweet Karma was extremely responsive, even on short notice. I contacted them only two weeks before my wedding and they helped everything go smoothly. We set up an appointment right away and Tina helped me find out exactly what I needed. They were very reasonable with their pricing and the delivery went very smoothly. The cake looked exactly how I wanted it! It was perfect! Guests were raving that it was the best cake they ever had and even my husband, who normally does not like cake, loved it! Highly recommend!

I have celiac and got a gluten free wedding cake. It was the best cake I've ever had. Everyone wanted more than one slice and had no idea it was gluten free. I did not get sick and it was delicious! I highly recommend

Sweet Karma made the most delicious and beautiful gluten free music inspired wedding cake I could have possibly imagined!! Also, they are welcoming and helpful and they'll have my business for a long time !

Sweet Karma ROCKS!!! We went there a few weeks before our wedding to taste the desserts and they were pretty amazing. We are both chocolate people so we totally overindulged and went with a "chocolate indulgence" cake. It was delicious and it looked gorgeous too! The colors he used matched our flowers perfectly. We loved it and so did everyone else.

For any celiac or gluten free brides ( just like me) on long island, this is the place to go! As with any gluten free baked goods there is always initial fear :). But my fears were soon calmed when we went for our tasting at Sweet Karma. We were blown away by the gluten free options. The cake was SUPER tasty. What also calmed my nerves was the dedication to making true gluten free items. Everyone there was aware and so knowledgeable. We wound up ordering a small gluten free cake for myself and three different kinds of regular cupcakes for the guests. Everything was perfect... even down to the gold decorations. The red velvet gluten free cake was super moist ( something you rarely find in gluten free cakes). I cannot wait to go back to sweet karma for more of their delicious desserts!

They made our gluten free wedding cake and it was absolutely delicious. They don't charge you a million dollars when you say gluten free- it's the same price as their regular cakes. They are celiac safe (they close down and wash everything before doing their gluten free baking) and truly understand gluten free needs. They actually have a bunch of flavors to choose from and we struggled to narrow it down. People were shocked it was gluten free!! We also ordered GF dessert cups for our rehearsal dinner and everyone loved them!

I gave one less star for flexibility because they wouldn't do a naked cake. They explained that it structurally wasn't as sound and since GF cakes are a bit heavier it's too big of a risk, but I do think it's something that they may want to figure out given the popularity of this trend. Regardless, we trusted their professional opinions and chose a different design and were incredibly happy anyway. They are officially our event bakery from now on!!

I understand that my wedding was a while ago but I have refrained from writing this review. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience with this bakery. The leading up to the wedding they were fine however on our wedding day they were supposed to deliver the cake by 1-2 PM so our florist could decorate the cake with flowers. I arrived at the venue at 4 PM and the bridal attendant warned me that the cake had not been delivered yet and I had to call the bakery while I was supposed to be take photos with my husband. The cake was delivered at 5:15 PM when my guests were already in the venue. The cake was plain and not decorated due to the lack of flowers and I was very unhappy about this, however I was glad it finally made it to the venue. I wish this was the worst of the situation. When the time came (4 and a half hours later) to cut my cake, the custom cake cutter that my mother made was broken IN HALF while we were cutting the cake with everyone watching us. They rolled the cake inside to be cut and the entire center of the cake was completely frozen solid. My entire family side of our venue did not get served the cake that we had paid a lot of money for. When we returned from our honeymoon the bakery said I needed to come in and discuss in person what had happened and then they fed me excuses about my ceilings being too high and that is the reason the cake didn't thaw. I'm not sure why I had a frozen inedible cake in the first place, it should have been freshly made. The company would only offer me 200 dollars back from my 550 dollar cake and I did not think that was reconcilable considering the circumstances. My parents and in-laws were not served cake. I left the bakery and never heard from them again. I would never recommend this bakery to any of my friends getting married in the future.
