Our wedding was a couple of years ago but I'm still grateful that we hired Suz -- it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. During the research process I found that I loved her website and everything that I saw and read about Suz. Our introductory phone call was easy and all of her communications were clear and direct. Once we hired her we got to meet for a short engagement session. This helped me and my husband feel more comfortable being in front of the camera on our wedding day. She also collected a good amount of information ahead of time and it was clear that she paid attention to all of our requests and the details of how we wanted our wedding day to go. Although the day of was pretty perfect, going into it I was anxious about everything going smoothly. Suz brought her calm energy and warmth to all of our time together and put me at ease. You spend quite a bit of time with your photographer, and both my husband and I had fun with Suz, which made it a much more pleasant experience than I had imagined. And of course, we love our wedding photos. They are beautiful and capture so many special moments throughout the day. I am so grateful to have these photos forever.

We recently hired Suz again for a family photo shoot with our one-year-old, Not surprising, she was again easy to work with and helped our little guy have an easy time with the process. and if we decide to do professional photos in the future we hope to work with Suz again.

It was difficult for my now husband to see how much a wedding costs. Initially he wanted to search for a budget photographer, but I convinced him of the importance of quality photos. We have no regrets with choosing Suz. She has a wonderful personality and made us feel so comfortable. She listened to what was important to us and had great suggestions on how/when to capture photos- we even used her wedding timeline. Our photos were the perfect combination of family portraits and live events. When I go through our album now, I truly feel like I’m reliving my wedding day. It’s difficult to put into words, but the quality of the moments captured are superior to those I’ve seen from other wedding photographers. We love her work so much that now 2 years later (yes, I waited an embarrassingly long time to do this) we drove two hours to MA to have her take family photos with out newest addition.

Suzanna March Photography was highly recommended by two different friends of ours who used Suz to shoot their weddings and loved her. When we met with Suz, we were impressed by the quality of her photos and gorgeous albums. She produces first-class work that looks timeless and classic. Her photos stood out to us because they were more artistic and had more depth and character to them than other photographers we had seen. We ended up booking and were super excited to work with her for our November 2020 wedding.




Fast forward to the COVID-19 pandemic, and all of our wedding plans changed. Throughout the pandemic, Suz sent clear and reassuring emails explaining how willing she was to accommodate any changes in wedding plans. She has consistently been responsive and has provided great answers/solutions to our questions and concerns, which was super reassuring especially through the uncertainty that has come with this pandemic. We ended up doing the opposite of most people by moving our wedding date earlier to August of 2020. Suz was thankfully available on our micro wedding date, and was so excited about our new plans.




We originally were going to have a wedding of 100+ guests and expected to use Suz’s services for 8 hours. However, with the new micro wedding plan with a total of 8 guests, Suz was very flexible and accommodating, only charging us for the 5 hours of photography she provided, and giving us a studio credit toward our wedding album.




Day of, Suz was right on time, super professional, fun, and easy-going the entire time. She made everything seem so easy, and she took incredible photos. She truly captured the beauty, fun, and joy of the day. Only three weeks later she sent us a set of 700+ photos that were stunning. We are in the process of making our wedding album with Suz now, and can’t wait to see how they come out.




Hands down, we would recommend Suz to anyone. The quality of her work is second to none, her calm demeanor and positive energy put us completely at ease in front of the camera, and her flexibility working with us in the middle of a global pandemic was incredible. Can’t wait to use Suz for more photos in the future!

I'm not sure where to begin on what I love about Suz and everything she did for our wedding... She's so easy to get along with, super responsive, detail oriented, and most importantly cared about our vision. I was referred to her by a friend's photographer and fell in love with past weddings she had photographed (definitely check her out on IG!). She prompted us to think about prioritizing the wedding day regarding events and timing (i.e. do you want to have a picture with your second cousins twice removed instead of enjoying your cocktail hour?). She was very helpful leading up to the wedding and whenever we reached out with questions or concerns, she got back to us immediately and put our minds at ease. We did an engagement shoot with her and it was perfect. It was only supposed to be 90 minutes long and she extended it because she wanted to capture the best possible pictures (and it was totally worth it!). I hate getting my picture taken but she made it so fun and easy that I knew we made the right choice picking her. Day of the wedding, she was such a calming presence that I couldn't help but feel calm even though I was a ball of nerves. She got all of the group pictures we requested and then some. A few days after the wedding, she sent us an e-mail congratulating us and letting us know when we could expect our pictures. Six-ish weeks later we received 800 pictures that exceeded our expectations. They were so stunning and thoughtful that I can't help but get emotional whenever I go back through them. I could go on and on but her pictures speak for themselves. I just wish I had an excuse to have another photo shoot with her! Needless to say, I highly recommend Suz :)

I would recommend Suz to anyone and everyone! She was so easy for work with on the day of, despite our wedding being on the hottest day of the year. She was able to truly capture the essence of our wedding. The photo were breathtaking and the process after the wedding was seamless. Can't say enough good things!

There are not enough good things to say about Suz.
My husband and I are a little camera shy/ awkward and she made us feel so comfortable and at ease both in our engagement shoot and in our wedding photos. Heck- we actually had so much fun during our shoots with Suz!! Her professionalism combined with her sense of humor will keep you smiling and laughing- which makes for photos that look totally natural and not forced. She is incredibly organized and experienced and walks you through the process every step of the way. Throughout our year and a half engagement, Suz was communicative and responsive. On our wedding day, she and her assistant were present all day long -from getting ready through the reception- without being intrusive.
Suz gently encouraged us to consider doing a "first look"-something we were initially against- but we are SO glad we seriously considered her advice. We were able to take our formal pictures with our families and bridal party before the ceremony, and thus were able to enjoy our cocktail hour without being whisked away and rushing through photos. Our friends and family all agreed that she made everyone feel cool, calm and collected and at ease.
We were not disappointed!!

This is an embarrassingly belated but no less enthusiastic review for Suz, who photographed our wedding a year and change ago. We cannot recommend her highly enough! Two months before the wedding, when we let her know that we'd be at our (out of state) venue for a walk-through, she drove several hours to meet us there, literally going the extra mile and impressing us with her good cheer even then. On the wedding day, she was wonderful company the ENTIRE day, from getting ready shots in the late morning 'til midnight. She was upbeat, encouraging, funny, low-stress, and just put out a ton of good vibes and positive energy. Her incredible attention to detail and clear communication with our other vendors meant that we always knew where we needed to be and never fell behind schedule (a feat!). Of course, it goes without saying that we love the photos. We got 800+ gorgeous pictures about five weeks after the event (after having already gotten a couple dozen standouts earlier). It was important to us that the photos not feel staged or canned (we did a first look, and then took all the posed family and bridal group shots before the ceremony), but have a more candid, photo-journalist-ish look. She 100% delivered. And even in the more "formal" shots with the families and bridal party, everyone looks relaxed and natural. After the wedding, we worked with Suz to create photo albums. We weren't able to visit her studio in Mass., so we met a couple times over video chat. This process too was incredibly easy, with her doing a ton of legwork beforehand to choose photos, layouts, etc. We left this a bit late but Suz managed to get the three albums (ours plus two for parents) printed and shipped in advance of our Christmas travels. We are thrilled to have these beautiful keepsakes, to say nothing of the hundreds of digital files. We've now moved to a different region of the country, but still hope to work with Suz again soon!

This is by far one of my favorite pictures from my wedding day. My niece, who means the world to me, is very shy (even with me) but to see her interact with the woman who was going to make one of the most special days of my life last forever was absolutely priceless. @suzannamarchphotography did such an incredible job not only with wonderful photos she took but by capturing every detail to make the day last forever. She is so sweet and boy could she make us laugh. She made the day that much more special for both my husband and I and we just could not thank her enough!

Suz was super friendly, easy to work with, and professional. When we were looking for our photographer, her work stood out to us - she is a a very talented photographer who has a sharp eye for using lighting very effectively! After researching potential vendors, we met up with Suz and she clearly shows a lot of expertise and experience and was able to answer all of our questions very thoroughly! We knew Suz would be up for the job.

During the wedding day, Suz was an expert at taking great shots in our very tight hotel room while myself and 5 bridesmaids were getting ready. We did a first look, which I highly recommend, because we were able to capture a lot of photos up front and Suz could creatively use the nearby locations for some great scenery. After the ceremony, Suz did an excellent job with my large family and the group shots - she knew exactly how to handle a large group and was able to get everyone lined up quickly and efficiently!

We are so pleased with how the photos turned out. Suz did an amazing job capturing the spirit and emotions of the day, and we will treasure the photos she took for the rest of our lives.

Hiring Suz to be our photographer was the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. From the second we met her, we knew we couldn't get married without her! Talent aside, her amazing personality is infectious, she is such a fun person to be around and always has a smile on her face. We felt so comfortable being around her; almost as if we had been friends with her for years. Shooting with Suz was just as much fun as meeting with her. She makes you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, she's great at communication and so easy to work with. Throughout the whole process Suz was very attentive to emails and questions and not once made us worry.

Suz also knows the Boston area so well. She did a great job of suggesting areas to shoot and she understands what you're looking for so well that the places she chose for us were 100% right. We liked that Suz arranged to meet a couple weeks before our wedding to discuss time line and show us a couple of places she was thinking to shoot. We recently received our photos from Suz and LOVE them. They came out better than we could have imagined and are so thankful that we had Suz there to capture all of our amazing moments!
