Suz is great!

Our wedding was a couple of years ago but I'm still grateful that we hired Suz -- it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. During the research process I found that I loved her website and everything that I saw and read about Suz. Our introductory phone call was easy and all of her communications were clear and direct. Once we hired her we got to meet for a short engagement session. This helped me and my husband feel more comfortable being in front of the camera on our wedding day. She also collected a good amount of information ahead of time and it was clear that she paid attention to all of our requests and the details of how we wanted our wedding day to go. Although the day of was pretty perfect, going into it I was anxious about everything going smoothly. Suz brought her calm energy and warmth to all of our time together and put me at ease. You spend quite a bit of time with your photographer, and both my husband and I had fun with Suz, which made it a much more pleasant experience than I had imagined. And of course, we love our wedding photos. They are beautiful and capture so many special moments throughout the day. I am so grateful to have these photos forever.

We recently hired Suz again for a family photo shoot with our one-year-old, Not surprising, she was again easy to work with and helped our little guy have an easy time with the process. and if we decide to do professional photos in the future we hope to work with Suz again.

Worth Every Penny!

It was difficult for my now husband to see how much a wedding costs. Initially he wanted to search for a budget photographer, but I convinced him of the importance of quality photos. We have no regrets with choosing Suz. She has a wonderful personality and made us feel so comfortable. She listened to what was important to us and had great suggestions on how/when to capture photos- we even used her wedding timeline. Our photos were the perfect combination of family portraits and live events. When I go through our album now, I truly feel like I’m reliving my wedding day. It’s difficult to put into words, but the quality of the moments captured are superior to those I’ve seen from other wedding photographers. We love her work so much that now 2 years later (yes, I waited an embarrassingly long time to do this) we drove two hours to MA to have her take family photos with out newest addition.

Suz is Incredible--Highly Recommend!

Suzanna March Photography was highly recommended by two different friends of ours who used Suz to shoot their weddings and loved her. When we met with Suz, we were impressed by the quality of her photos and gorgeous albums. She produces first-class work that looks timeless and classic. Her photos stood out to us because they were more artistic and had more depth and character to them than other photographers we had seen. We ended up booking and were super excited to work with her for our November 2020 wedding.

Fast forward to the COVID-19 pandemic, and all of our wedding plans changed. Throughout the pandemic, Suz sent clear and reassuring emails explaining how willing she was to accommodate any changes in wedding plans. She has consistently been responsive and has provided great answers/solutions to our questions and concerns, which was super reassuring especially through the uncertainty that has come with this pandemic. We ended up doing the opposite of most people by moving our wedding date earlier to August of 2020. Suz was thankfully available on our micro wedding date, and was so excited about our new plans.

We originally were going to have a wedding of 100+ guests and expected to use Suz’s services for 8 hours. However, with the new micro wedding plan with a total of 8 guests, Suz was very flexible and accommodating, only charging us for the 5 hours of photography she provided, and giving us a studio credit toward our wedding album.

Day of, Suz was right on time, super professional, fun, and easy-going the entire time. She made everything seem so easy, and she took incredible photos. She truly captured the beauty, fun, and joy of the day. Only three weeks later she sent us a set of 700+ photos that were stunning. We are in the process of making our wedding album with Suz now, and can’t wait to see how they come out.

Hands down, we would recommend Suz to anyone. The quality of her work is second to none, her calm demeanor and positive energy put us completely at ease in front of the camera, and her flexibility working with us in the middle of a global pandemic was incredible. Can’t wait to use Suz for more photos in the future!

Highly recommend!

I'm not sure where to begin on what I love about Suz and everything she did for our wedding... She's so easy to get along with, super responsive, detail oriented, and most importantly cared about our vision. I was referred to her by a friend's photographer and fell in love with past weddings she had photographed (definitely check her out on IG!). She prompted us to think about prioritizing the wedding day regarding events and timing (i.e. do you want to have a picture with your second cousins twice removed instead of enjoying your cocktail hour?). She was very helpful leading up to the wedding and whenever we reached out with questions or concerns, she got back to us immediately and put our minds at ease. We did an engagement shoot with her and it was perfect. It was only supposed to be 90 minutes long and she extended it because she wanted to capture the best possible pictures (and it was totally worth it!). I hate getting my picture taken but she made it so fun and easy that I knew we made the right choice picking her. Day of the wedding, she was such a calming presence that I couldn't help but feel calm even though I was a ball of nerves. She got all of the group pictures we requested and then some. A few days after the wedding, she sent us an e-mail congratulating us and letting us know when we could expect our pictures. Six-ish weeks later we received 800 pictures that exceeded our expectations. They were so stunning and thoughtful that I can't help but get emotional whenever I go back through them. I could go on and on but her pictures speak for themselves. I just wish I had an excuse to have another photo shoot with her! Needless to say, I highly recommend Suz :)

Photos were a dream!!

I would recommend Suz to anyone and everyone! She was so easy for work with on the day of, despite our wedding being on the hottest day of the year. She was able to truly capture the essence of our wedding. The photo were breathtaking and the process after the wedding was seamless. Can't say enough good things!

The best!

There are not enough good things to say about Suz.
My husband and I are a little camera shy/ awkward and she made us feel so comfortable and at ease both in our engagement shoot and in our wedding photos. Heck- we actually had so much fun during our shoots with Suz!! Her professionalism combined with her sense of humor will keep you smiling and laughing- which makes for photos that look totally natural and not forced. She is incredibly organized and experienced and walks you through the process every step of the way. Throughout our year and a half engagement, Suz was communicative and responsive. On our wedding day, she and her assistant were present all day long -from getting ready through the reception- without being intrusive.
Suz gently encouraged us to consider doing a "first look"-something we were initially against- but we are SO glad we seriously considered her advice. We were able to take our formal pictures with our families and bridal party before the ceremony, and thus were able to enjoy our cocktail hour without being whisked away and rushing through photos. Our friends and family all agreed that she made everyone feel cool, calm and collected and at ease.
We were not disappointed!!

This is an embarrassingly belated but no less enthusiastic review for Suz, who photographed our wedding a year and change ago. We cannot recommend her highly enough! Two months before the wedding, when we let her know that we'd be at our (out of state) venue for a walk-through, she drove several hours to meet us there, literally going the extra mile and impressing us with her good cheer even then. On the wedding day, she was wonderful company the ENTIRE day, from getting ready shots in the late morning 'til midnight. She was upbeat, encouraging, funny, low-stress, and just put out a ton of good vibes and positive energy. Her incredible attention to detail and clear communication with our other vendors meant that we always knew where we needed to be and never fell behind schedule (a feat!). Of course, it goes without saying that we love the photos. We got 800+ gorgeous pictures about five weeks after the event (after having already gotten a couple dozen standouts earlier). It was important to us that the photos not feel staged or canned (we did a first look, and then took all the posed family and bridal group shots before the ceremony), but have a more candid, photo-journalist-ish look. She 100% delivered. And even in the more "formal" shots with the families and bridal party, everyone looks relaxed and natural. After the wedding, we worked with Suz to create photo albums. We weren't able to visit her studio in Mass., so we met a couple times over video chat. This process too was incredibly easy, with her doing a ton of legwork beforehand to choose photos, layouts, etc. We left this a bit late but Suz managed to get the three albums (ours plus two for parents) printed and shipped in advance of our Christmas travels. We are thrilled to have these beautiful keepsakes, to say nothing of the hundreds of digital files. We've now moved to a different region of the country, but still hope to work with Suz again soon!

This is by far one of my favorite pictures from my wedding day. My niece, who means the world to me, is very shy (even with me) but to see her interact with the woman who was going to make one of the most special days of my life last forever was absolutely priceless. @suzannamarchphotography did such an incredible job not only with wonderful photos she took but by capturing every detail to make the day last forever. She is so sweet and boy could she make us laugh. She made the day that much more special for both my husband and I and we just could not thank her enough!

We highly recommend Suzanna March Photography.

Suz was super friendly, easy to work with, and professional. When we were looking for our photographer, her work stood out to us - she is a a very talented photographer who has a sharp eye for using lighting very effectively! After researching potential vendors, we met up with Suz and she clearly shows a lot of expertise and experience and was able to answer all of our questions very thoroughly! We knew Suz would be up for the job.

During the wedding day, Suz was an expert at taking great shots in our very tight hotel room while myself and 5 bridesmaids were getting ready. We did a first look, which I highly recommend, because we were able to capture a lot of photos up front and Suz could creatively use the nearby locations for some great scenery. After the ceremony, Suz did an excellent job with my large family and the group shots - she knew exactly how to handle a large group and was able to get everyone lined up quickly and efficiently!

We are so pleased with how the photos turned out. Suz did an amazing job capturing the spirit and emotions of the day, and we will treasure the photos she took for the rest of our lives.

Hiring Suz to be our photographer was the best decision we made throughout our wedding planning process. From the second we met her, we knew we couldn't get married without her! Talent aside, her amazing personality is infectious, she is such a fun person to be around and always has a smile on her face. We felt so comfortable being around her; almost as if we had been friends with her for years. Shooting with Suz was just as much fun as meeting with her. She makes you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, she's great at communication and so easy to work with. Throughout the whole process Suz was very attentive to emails and questions and not once made us worry.

Suz also knows the Boston area so well. She did a great job of suggesting areas to shoot and she understands what you're looking for so well that the places she chose for us were 100% right. We liked that Suz arranged to meet a couple weeks before our wedding to discuss time line and show us a couple of places she was thinking to shoot. We recently received our photos from Suz and LOVE them. They came out better than we could have imagined and are so thankful that we had Suz there to capture all of our amazing moments! Thank you, Suz!! #teamsuz all the way!

Suz is the absolute best! She photographed my sister's wedding and after seeing how well she put everyone at ease throughout the day, I knew I needed her for my own wedding. She is able to create an upbeat, positive vibe during a day that unfortunately can become stressful. Not only is she an amazing person to work with, her pictures come out absolutely beautifully. I am super self conscious and don't usually like pictures of myself. However, I can't get enough of my wedding pictures (which is how it's supposed to be!). She has a talent for finding the perfect lighting and angles to make you look even more amazing than you feel. She captured all the most important moments of our big day and then some. Cannot recommend Suz enough!

Suzanna is an amazing photographer. From the 700+ photographs we received there isn’t a bad one in it. Both me and my husband are not the model type or do we enjoy having our picture taken but Suzanna had us laughing and so at ease from the very first time we met!!!

We cannot thank Suzanna and her team enough for beautifully capturing all the special moments throughout our wedding day. She kept things light, fun, natural and most of all, organized and on schedule, which can often be a challenge for a large wedding party, so we will always be extremely appreciative of that. Our friends and families also commented on how much they loved Suz & her team for all the same reasons we did and couldn’t stop singing her praises.

Suz makes the photo sharing process incredibly easy as well. She first posted some highlights on her blog so we had an initial preview, which was awesome! Then a couple days later, we receive a shareable link to a secure site with all of the photos captured throughout the day. It was so much fun looking back at our photos and reliving the day. Suz did not miss a single beat; from capturing more of the behind the scenes/texture shots to the bigger ones- the processional, ceremony, dances and speeches- she nailed it! We cannot wait to create our wedding album and parents' albums over the coming months.

My husband and I hired Suz for our wedding on 8/5/17 at the Guilford Yacht Club in Guilford CT and I could not be happier that I did! We hired Suz after meeting her at a wedding she was shooting where I was the MOH. I knew when I met her she was the perfect photographer for us. Her professionalism, fun spirit, organization and talent is unmatchable! Having her on our wedding day felt just like having another friend there. She somehow managed to get together our rowdy group of groomsmen for some portrait pictures and let them run football plays during photos (clearly she can go with the flow)! Her assistant, Pat, also felt like another friend on the day. He kept the bridal party laughing during portraits, which made for some fun and natural photos. When we got our pictures back we could not have been happier. The range of style and poses that she took truly shows her talent. She also worked with us on the timing of each step of the day and plans for the pictures. She knew I was set on not doing a first look and got creative when taking our pictures since we only had an hour to get our portraits done. Somehow she got these done and they look incredible. You can stop searching right now for a photographer, and book Suz! I would say of all my vendors, she was definitely my favorite. From the beginning, she was super organized and laid back. She was really easy to get in touch with, and came up with a detailed and easy to follow day of schedule. She was never pushy about anything, and I truly felt like she just wanted to make the day as beautiful as possible. I never for a second doubted she would do an awesome job, but I have to say she more than exceeded my expectations the day of. At times, I forgot she was even there because she's such a pro at blending in. She was super patient with everyone, and her calming and friendly demeanor put everyone at ease. You spend alot of time with your photographer, and I think the best thing about Suz is that she is super chill and when you meet her, you feel like you've been friends for years. She'd hilarious, fun, and super sweet. I literally cannot recommend her enough. Trusting Suz with my big day was the best decision I ever made!

When we were figuring out our wedding priorities, we knew a top notch photographer was non-negotiable since photos are one of the few (if only) things kept post-wedding day. After our first meeting with Suz, we were in love. She is a true professional. She had breath-taking pictures and wedding anecdotes to share - but it was her sense of humor that charmed us. Throughout the planning process, Suz kept us at ease and was very responsive to any questions or concerns. She guided us with her expertise, but also ensured we made the day ours. Then the day was here, and while it was the whirlwind we knew it would be, Suz captured every moment we wanted and more. She made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and stuck to the timeline without breaking a sweat. We knew we'd be so happy even before we received the pictures. Let me start by saying that Suz is amazing and SOOOO accommodating! Needless to say my (now) husband and I had many issues with weather between our engagement photos and wedding photos. I had really wanted snowy engagement photos but OF COURSE it hardly snowed in 2016 and when we finally picked out a date it was TOO COLD to even stand outside! Suz worked with my many date change requests with absolute pleasure and did everything to make sure we were happy. Then comes our wedding day in October and it is cold, rainy AND super windy in Newport... but that didn't stop Suz from getting some truly incredible photos. She braved the weather with us and the results were better than I could have imagined. Some photos it almost looked like it was even sunny out! Suz is super down to earth and will make you feel at ease on your wedding day. Thank you for being a part of our special day Suz!

My husband and I are thrilled that Suzanna March Photography was part of our wedding day. From the second Suz and Kirsten (her assistant) arrived they were amazing--they felt like family or old friends. They were both so professional and easy going--I really felt like I knew them forever. All of the wedding guests and bridal party that interacted with Suz couldn't stop saying how lovely she was and that was when they hadn't even seen the pictures! I had my heart set on working with Suz ever since I saw one of her client's wedding pictures--it was clear that she was incredibly talented. My husband hadn't been thrilled about the "finding a photographer" but when he saw Suz's work he said it was the easiest decision . Little did I know then how Suz would even exceed our expectations on our actual wedding day! Although we got a little off schedule early in the day Suz was phenomenal in getting us back on track (I don't know how she stayed so cool, calm, and collected but the vibes she gave off helped me keep it together)! She also orchestrated some incredibly meaningful moments! I really don't think that any other photographer would have given us the "first look" moment that she did! Now that the pictures are ready I am blown away. I've never felt that I was particularly photogenic but Suz gave me literally hundreds of photos that I am thrilled with. Everyone that we have shared our pictures with also think she's incredible. I can't recommend her enough!

Suz is THE BEST! Besides the fact that she is a truly talented photographer who produces the most beautiful photos, she is down to earth, professional, warm and welcoming, and works with a sense of ease that would calm even the most stressed out bride. For our wedding she captured the formal moments, the candid moments, and those little beautiful and meaningful moments in between that made us smile so big when we looked through all of our pictures. She hit every mark on our big day, and made everyone feel so comfortable. It wasn't a task to take photos before our ceremony. Suz had done her homework and knew who was who, which photos we'd want, and where to take them in order to get incredible results. Her photos are beyond beautiful--I've looked through them so many times now and can't thank her enough for capturing such an important day. On top of that, she was incredibly responsive and patient with us leading up to the wedding, which goes a long way when working with multiple vendors and timelines. Looking back at our wedding, one of the smartest decisions my husband and I made was hiring Suz. She was responsive, super easy to work with, and above all, produced photographs of our engagement session and wedding that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. The quality of the work is top notch, she has an awesome eye, and you can really tell that she genuinely loves what she does and makes an effort to connect with each couple on a personal level. She felt like an ally on our wedding day. She designed a really beautiful wedding album for us. We were so happy with her work and she made such an impression on others at the wedding that my sister has enlisted Suz's services for her own wedding this July. We're looking forward to seeing and working with her again.

Suzanna March did an amazing job at our wedding. She shot our engagement pictures, and did a beautiful job. Suzanna is great to work with, and did a wonderful job throughout the entire day shooting. She is very personable, which makes it easy to act naturally around her and for her to capture all the moments of the day. Her work is always stunning, and we would recommend her to anyone who wants their day captured perfectly!

What can I say about my photographer?? Fun, professional, amazing at what she does, oh, did I mention fun?? Suzanna puts you at ease when you are in front of her lens. Her laid back style and her eye for unique shots created the perfect story for our day. Suz and her assistant kept us laughing all day. They were wonderful to work with. Looking through our photos, I couldn't ask for a better view of our day than through Suzanna's lens. Thank you Suz for capturing amazing memories of our day!

Suzanna was wonderful to work with for my Boudroir shoot. She has a great eye, a wonderful personality and made the entire process both easy and glamorous and not at all awkward. From recommendations on local wardrobe choices to onsite hair and make up and fun playlist I couldn't have asked for a better shoot. I've never done a shoot before and felt like a pro by the end. And of course the photos turned out beautifully - a nice mix off artsy, seductive and fun. Couldnt rave more about the whole experience!! Already recommended to a friend. Thanks Suzanna!!!

Suzanna was great to work with from planning to the ceremony and reception and then through the album and final photo process. We had done a fair amount of research and went with Suzanna after talking with a few photographers. I liked her style, not too posed but still capturing the best moments. Her photos are gorgeous and alive. But talking with her really sealed the deal. She's professional and engaging and can adapt to any style. We decided on a package that included an engagement session which I highly recommend for anyone. It let Suzanna get a sense of our styles and personalities and allowed us to get more comfortable with the camera and some of the poses (trust her when she says it may be awkward in the moment but will look great on film). I am so happy to have those more casual professional photos. But her brilliance really shined through at our wedding. We decided to do the posed pictures before the ceremony (which I highly recommend for anyone since it gets that out of the way and gives you more time to spend with your guests). She worked with us on a timeline and the specifics of each posed picture so we knew who should be where and when, and she picked out a stunning setting. The posed pictures came out beautifully but she definitely worked magic with the non-posed photos as well. From the ceremony to the reception, she captured not only the key moments but the spirit and atmosphere of the wedding as well. She captured every moment but she and her assistant were so unobtrusive that I barely noticed that they were there. Its not only a true talent to capture the amazing moments on film but to do so in such a subtle way, that we and the guests could enjoy the moment as well. After the wedding, when we saw the gallery, I was blown away with how great the photos turned out and how special they all are. Her editing is also top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Suzanna to anyone. You will be in good hands with her.

Suz is simply the best. Her photographers are amazing. She tailors the package to fit your budget, so you get breathtaking photographs without breaking the bank! She makes you feel at ease during your sessions enabling you and your fiancé to be yourselves. A lot of wedding photographers put couples in beautiful scenery and they get lost in the background, with Suz the city skyline, the countryside, whatever disappears and the focus is on you. She is also extremely creative and if you trust it, it will be the most out of this world photo you have ever seen. The night of our wedding she had us stand over steaming manhole as cars were stopped at a red-light. The result? The most epic wedding photo ever. In addition to the shots of just the two of us, she got great photos of our guests at the wedding. She captured all the little moments that I missed while I was talking to others. Many, many, things about a wedding are stressful, you shouldn't worry about the photos--with Suz, you don't need to.

We are so glad that we used Suz as our wedding photographer. We knew from our first meeting with her that she was exactly what we wanted. She was always professional and fun to work with.

Even though engagement pictures can be pretty awkward to take, Suz removed the awkward element, and encouraged us to act naturally. We loved how our engagement shoot turned out, and the pictures are gorgeous.

Suz was with us our entire wedding day, taking a mix of candid and posed shots, which is exactly what we were looking for. We were beyond pleased with how our pictures turned out, and we would highly recommend Suz to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

We are so glad we chose to work with Suz on our wedding day. First, leading up to and on our wedding day, she was always on time and professional. Second and most importantly, she captured the day perfectly. She was relaxed and fun which helped use feel relaxed on our wedding day. We love the photos and her ability to truly capture the special moments from our wedding. Plus, she provided a flash drive of all the photos to us, while a lot of other photographers make you pay for prints and "rights" to the photos. Great value, and we loved working with Suz!

We couldn't be more thrilled with the finished product SMP produced for us. She was such a pleasure to work with through the entire process. I had many requests for who and what I wanted captured on our special day and Suz more than delivered. I have looked at my wedding pics no less than 20x and every single time I do I find a picture or detail I missed when I looked the time before. Every detail and moment of our day was perfectly captured. Everyone in my family is raving about our pictures! They are images...and more importantly memories.. we will have to cherish forever.

I can't write enough good things about Suz. We found her blog post by complete accident when we were considering having our wedding at the Mass MoCa museum. While we didn't end up having our wedding at the museum, we knew from the minute we saw her work and met her in person that she was the ONE to capture our wedding day. I swiftly developed a girl-crush on her.

Suz made sure to capture our backyard wedding down to every detail. Her enthusiasm, thoroughness, and tact with dealing with parents was so wonderful that it took stress off our own shoulders. From riding with us on the school bus, to stealing us away for private pics during cocktail hour and staying that extra half hour to make sure she got us during a surprise Hava Nigela dance (we are not Jewish) Suz's ninja-like abilities proved unbeatable.

Since the wedding she's been in touch regularly and has answered many of our post-wedding questions while even on vacation. My girl-crush has deepened and I hope to see her again soon!

Suzanna March photographed my wedding in July 2013 and I could not have asked for a better experience! Suz was professional yet friendly and so easy to work with! The pictures came out absolutely stunning. There are several shots that numerous people have told me look like they are "pulled from a magazine". As we had asked for, we got a great combination of candids and "more traditional portrait pictures" all of which looked natural and beautiful. They're all clear and vidid and not "overdone" with effects, that seems to be pretty trendy with many photographers right now. Many of our engaged guest who saw our pictures asked for her contact info right after they saw them. Even though we got married during busy wedding season, we got our pictures within a good time frame on really cute thumb drive that we'll have forever. Both as a person and as a photographer Suz is amazing and I whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone looking for the best!

Suz was perfect!! My husband and I agreed that a good photographer was our first priority and we couldn't have been happier with our selection. Suz is energetic, flexible, funny and so so easy to work with. She even got us on Style Me Pretty!
We live in NYC and got married on Cape Cod, so we weren't around Boston for an engagement session but she offered to come into the city for our engagement shoot, which worked out perfectly for us!
I could not recommend her highly enough!!

Suz was an absolute pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to take beautiful photos that captured our wedding day and personalities perfectly.

It started with our engagement session - we knew we wanted an outdoorsy location, but weren't sure where. We showed up at Suz's house, she said she knew just the place and we hopped in her car and drove to a nearby park. Suz knew the park backwards and forwards, and was responsive and gracious to every request we made - including wading into a marsh-like jumble of weeds to get a cool photo!

At our wedding, we were impressed by all of the creative photos Suz took and ideas she had for how to take natural, journalistic like photos. She perfectly captured the epic dance party we had during the reception. There was no one my husband and I would rather have spent 10+ hours with on that day. By the end of the wedding, we became friends with Suz and even had her over for dinner! We will treasure our engagement and wedding photos forever and remember Suz's great personality and creativity along with them.

Stop Looking.. Suz is your perfect photographer. From the moment we were engaged we knew exactly who we wanted to take our photos. Suz is a true professional. She worked with my husband and I on different photo options. She was even flexible in changing the date of our engagement photos because of a family emergency.
In all of our photos, Suz took natural shots, nothing was posed or felt uncomfortable. She let us be us and captured the perfect moments.
And for those of you worried about the photographer being "in the way" during the ceremony or reception, my husband says it perfectly, she blended into the crowd but captured the moments you want to remember.

Suz was absolutely amazing! We were referred to Suz and met for an in person consultation. We were immediately convinced we had to have Suz for our wedding. Flipping through her portfolio we saw that her style was just what we were looking for- Suz has an eye for uniquely beautiful shots. Both our engagement photos and wedding photos turned out better than we ever could have imagined! In addition to being a phenomenal photographer, Suz is also one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Right from the start we felt at ease with Suz. Suz was there to take pictures while getting ready with my mom and bridesmaids, and it felt as though there was just another friend in the room. Our ceremony shots are amazing, but I doubt anyone even noticed Suz and her assistant in the church. The more formal pictures with the bridal party and family were quick and came out fantastic as Suz gave great direction. We had the photo booth at our reception which our guests loved so much we we are still getting comments about. We are so happy that we booked Suz for our wedding!

They say a picture is worth 1000 words and most brides will agree that whether you are hosting a small intimate celebration, or a big lavish party, you want every moment, detail, and emotion captured from the most important day in your life. When you hire Suzanna March Photography, you get just that- AND MORE. Suz is seriously talented with a gifted artistic eye, as well as a personality that can put even the most nervous bride at ease moments before she walks down the aisle.
After being engaged for almost two years, I was hesitant to do engagement photos. Suz explained to me that the engagement session is important for three reasons. 1. It allows me (Suz) to get know the bride and groom. Does the bride laugh or talk too much because she is nervous? Does the groom need a little guidance of how to pose? Figuring all these little quirks out on your wedding day would not be ideal, so lets do it before hand! 2. Spending a day with a camera in your face is new to most people, and a little strange. Again, let's get over that awkwardness before you wedding day, shall we? 3. Feedback. The feedback that you give to me (Suz) will help with what style of photos you like and therefore on the wedding day, I will know what types of shots to get. For example: the posed versus candid's, the smiling versus serious, the black and white versus color etc.
When my wedding day came, I felt a wave of relief sweep over me when I saw Suz smiling at the front door to my parents house. The quality of her work speaks for itself and when I saw the photos from my wedding day- I was blown away. I would recommend Suzanna March Photography to any bride or groom looking for an exceptional photographer for their wedding day.

Where do I even begin about the amazing experience we had working with SUZ (SMP)!!! Every girl dreams of their wedding day like it or not we have all done it. Before even getting engaged I saw that Suz was starting her own photography company- I loved the risk she was taking leaving the corp world and starting her own new adventure, even better I LOVED HER WORK- I KNEW RIGHT AWAY, Suz would be our wedding photographer once Anthony proposed! Once we were engaged Suz was hired and we were in full swing, let's just say the weather was not on the same page as us our engaged shoot it got rained out 3 times but Suz was so optimistic one of my favorite pictures came from Suz risking all her equipment just so we could get our first engagement picture taken (she put plastic bags all over her camera to get a shot of Anthony and I running down the street in the pouring rain). When our wedding day finally came I couldn't have been happier with working with Suz, she made us feel more than comfortable and couldn't have captured our day any better than she did. I have a total of total of nine nieces and nephews who were very involved in our day and Suz worked so well with them as well. Simply put SMP is the best and you would be silly not to hire!

Suzanna March Photography was the first vendor we booked and we absolutely loved working with her. Not only were her photos AMAZING, but working with her was very easy. She's very responsive throughout the planning process and I felt like she went really above and beyond to give us the best photos possible.

The best part about Suz is that I had somebody I trusted like a friend taking my pictures. I wanted a photographer that I was comfortable with - somebody who would tell me if my hair needed to be fixed or who could get my husband to loosen up and laugh for the camera. I've since used her for baby pictures, and hope to continue working with her as my family grows throughout the years!

Seriously, stop looking for a photographer. Pick Suz. She is amazing. I used SMP for our engagement and wedding, as well as a super fun boudoir shoot. She will make you feel like the most gorgeous woman who has ever stepped in front of a camera, even if you are sweating in a field on a 95 degree day for your engagement shoot (trust me, I speak from experience). She was the ultimate professional, quick to respond to emails and fantastic at wrangling family for photos at the wedding. Most of all, however, Suz is an artist with a camera. She will work with you to create the memories you've always dreamed about. I honestly feel that she captured us perfectly and I will never regret my decision to choose SMP!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! Suz is absolutely fantastic and I couldn't recommend her more. She is accommodating, enjoyable to work with and makes everyone totally comfortable. Her photos are amazing and 100% capture the moment. She has a great eye for the details and for creating compelling shots that will last a lifetime. From the minute that I met Suz, I knew I wanted to work with her. She is super friendly and easy-going and after only an hour meeting I felt completely comfortable and I knew she would be a perfect fit for us. Suz not only has an amazing eye for creative photography, but she also is very accommodating of client requests. She did both our engagement photos and our wedding and I could not have been happier with the images that we received from her. Before I was even engaged I knew that I always wanted to work with Suz! I saw her work online and I instantly fell in love with her unique style. Suz was a dream photographer to work with whose work simply speaks for itself. She is able to capture the moment and make time stand still (all while having fun and not feeling like you are constantly in front of the camera). My husband and I absolutely LOVED working with her and were even more thrilled when we received our photos.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Suzanna! She was one of the first vendors we hired when we started planning our Connecticut wedding from Seattle. After looking through her beautiful portfolio and spending an hour on Skype with her there was no doubt that she was the photographer for us. Thank goodness for that decision! My (now) husband and I found picking a photographer the most difficult choice we had in the wedding planning process. With so many good choices it was such a hard decision! But when we met Suzanna (Suz to her friends) for drinks at a local lounge to talk things out everything just felt right. Between talking about the wedding and our favorite places to go shopping, I knew we had found our photographer. She's an expert at making people comfortable, which is combined with a strong sense of style to create a really wonderful wedding experience.

We decided to book her for an engagement photo session as well, to help get used to her working style, and I think it was a smart decision on our part and would recommend doing it for any couple who isn't used to having lots of photos taken of them. In the end we had a wonderful experience working with Suz and hope to continue our friendship.

We are amazed by our photos. Honestly, the best money we spent (in our lives!). Suz is incredibly talented and captures the wedding day perfectly, and somehow makes it look better than you remembered. How is that possible!? Working with Suz was a breeze. She is extremely responsive, and on time for all appointments! Her day of concentration and focus is appreciated and noticed by family & friends. I can't say enough.. SMP is the BEST!
