Planning a wedding across the country was nerve-racking but he was responsive and supportive every step of the way and always worked around our schedules. All of our guests commented on how beautiful our ceremony was because of Rabbi Donald M. Kunstadt. 10/10!

We had the best experience with Rabbi Kundstadt! We are both jewish but didn't have a family Rabbi on either side that we wanted to represent our faith on our wedding day - we talked to a handful on Rabbi's before finally meeting Rabbi Kundstadt and knew instantly that he was the perfect fit for us. He was able to perfectly honor our jewish heritage and highlight the meaning behind many ceremony elements, while keeping things light and fun. He took the time to meet with us a few times before our wedding to get to know us and each meeting we left more confident we made the right decision. Our ceremony was exactly what we wanted and we got so many compliments on it after! Cannot recommend enough!!

We were married in 12/2021 in Santa Barbara in an outdoor mini-wedding by Rabbi Kunstadt. His ceremony was exactly what we were hoping for. We appreciated his kindness, and responsiveness. He was also very flexible in accommodating our date/timing so family could attend from out of state and our ceremony site which was quite minimalistic (a bluff overlooking the ocean). We found the counseling helpful to discuss important marriage topics. We highly recommend the Rabbi for future weddings!

Our wedding was 7.10.21 in San Luis Obispo. We had a wonderful time working with Rabbi Donald, he was flexible to our schedule; whether it be meeting prior to the wedding or how we scheduled our actual event. He was very professional, easy to get ahold of, and punctual. He did a lovely job getting to know us so he could custom taylor a ceremony for us. He gave us some simple exercises and asked us questions to help my husband and I get to know each other even better, which made the whole process that much more fun. We highly recommend him!

Rabbi Kunstadt married us this past May in a beautiful ceremony in Montecito. From the moment we connected with the Rabbi, he was friendly, responsive, and flexible. He met with us a few times, wanted to get to know us on a personal level, sent us helpful reading material, engaged in pre-marital counseling, and comprehensively answered all of our questions. He also agreed to co-officiate our wedding with a judge who I used to work for, and was amenable to creating a service that would fit our needs. He worked with the judge to finalize that service. I highly recommend the Rabbi for future weddings -- he has a lot of experience with weddings and is just all around great!

When my wife and I were looking for a rabbi in a pinch, a friend recommended Rabbi Kunstadt. We were so glad he did. In the months leading up to the wedding, Rabbi Kunstadt was personable yet professional. He made an effort to get to know us, and to understand what was important to us in our marriage and in our wedding. And he led a ceremony that was simple yet meaningful. In fact, a lot of our guests later commented on how impressed they were with the rabbi's approach to the ceremony.

He also provided a helpful pre-marriage counseling session. He was quite sincere and made a strong effort to get to know as a couple. He was punctual and performed a great ceremony. Rabbi Donald Kunstadt was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. From the first introductory phone call, he made us feel comfortable and like we were in good hands. It was particularly important to us that we both felt comfortable because it was an interfaith wedding. It was also important to us that each Jewish tradition was explained so that it was accessible to the entire group - and he did this beautifully, even better than we expected. Finding Donald was one of our favorite parts of our wedding. Donald is a special person and we feel very lucky to have have him officiate our ceremony.
