Styled for Elegance is a traveling, on-site wedding hairstyling business based in Palmyra, Virginia. Since becoming a cosmetologist in 2012, owner and stylist Samantha has been a part of dozens of celebrations. She is passionate about the wedding industry and takes delight in helping to-be-weds look and feel beautiful on their big days.

Services Offered

To fit each client’s unique style, Styled for Elegance offers a variety of hair services. Samantha invites you to meet with her for a consultation so that she can get to know you and your vision. She is happy to provide trial sessions so you can visualize your look before your special day. Samantha can provide a range of hairstyles, from updos and curls to flower crowns. If you’d like to add extra length and volume to your locks, extensions are also available. For a pampered session with your loved ones prior to the event, Samantha offers styling services for members of your wedding party. She is also available to help you get ready for engagement photoshoots, portraits, and rehearsal dinners.

Incredible 'getting ready' experience! Thank you Sam!!!

Sam was incredible to work with throughout the whole wedding process. From initial booking to the wedding day, she was available for questions, ideas, and planning the ‘day of’ hair schedule. Her warm and compassionate personality combined with her excellent organizational skills allow you to feel at ease knowing that you’ve chosen a very talented, trustworthy hair expert. She communicates with thoughtfulness and care in all her client interactions. Despite having 10 bridesmaids, my mother, my mother in-law, and myself to coordinate, Sam went above and beyond for all our wedding day hair needs- all while remaining calm and relaxed. She is incredibly attentive to detail and helped make my ‘getting ready’ experience perfect in every way! Don’t be surprised if you instantly want to be friends once you experience her warmhearted nature and uplifting energy.

Samantha is wonderful!

It's taken me way too long to write this review, but Samantha was nothing but kind and amazing for my wedding last year. We did a trial run a few weeks prior to my big day, yet she was still willing to work with me when I asked for a small change to be made on the day of. She did hair for my grandma, mom, mil, maid of honor, and at least one more of my bridesmaids AND still managed to stay on schedule - I was very impressed. She was professional, flexible, and made us all feel so beautiful. She even left me with a little goodie bag of products that I could use for touchups throughout the day. I can't recommend her enough, she was wonderful!

Samantha is wonderful!

Samantha was a joy to have around on my wedding day. She was very easy to schedule and communicate with prior to the day and day of she got everyone's hair done as scheduled and we all looked beautiful! She was also a lovely and calming presence the morning of the wedding. She did my hair exactly like I imagined and I would definitely recommend!!

Felt my best!

Choosing Samantha for my (hot) July 2023 wedding was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding planning process! Samantha made my dream come true!!!!

Day one samantha was able to take my inspo pics, which were a little all over the place, and create the hair style of my dreams!!! She stuck with me through two reschedulings over the course of three years and even helped make sure that my extension’s color worked through different color changes in that amount of time. Samantha is incredibly organized, and she and her team were on time/ on schedule and made everyone in my bridal party look amazing!!!! Im SOOOO happy that I went with styled for elegance and I HIGHLY recommend that you go with them too!!! I promise they will make your dream come true too!!!!!!

Best hair styling experience!!!

Samantha is the IDEAL wedding day hair/glam vendor. She was excellent about helping me figure out what I liked/didn't like and offered amazing suggestions about how to make my hair look even better for my wedding day. As someone who struggled to figure this out on my own, I really valued this! Styled by Elegance not only did my hair but also 7 bridesmaids and both my mother and mother-in-law. Samantha and her second stylist managed this flawlessly and actually put us ahead of schedule for the day. She brought such calm and professionalism to the whole experience. Can't recommend her highly enough!

Book Immediately!!

Samantha was the absolute best and was so incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. She made everyone in my group feel so beautiful and was so flexible. She was extremely prompt, had excellent communication, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was extremely happy with their hairstyles. My hair stayed all night and even looked great the next morning. I highly recommend booking her to make your hairstyle dreams a reality.

Best Hair Stylist

Working with Samantha was amazing! My hair and all my bridesmaids' hair turned out beautifully. She's really listens to your vision and makes it come to life. Plus she's a delight to be around and made the whole morning fun and stress free. I'd recommend her to anyone!

A great wedding vendor!

Working with Samantha was a great experience. Not only did she create beautiful hairstyles for myself and my wedding party, but she was incredibly calming and kind on the day of my wedding. She worked so well with my wedding party and was willing to provide suggestions when needed. She was even willing to work with my photographer and other vendors to ensure that my wedding day went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend using Styled for Elegance for your' wedding day!

Couldn't ask for anything better!

Working with Samantha was ideal for my wedding! I loved my hair, and it matched what I was going for with my dress amd makeup well. She took ideas and made them an even better reality. She is also so lovely to hang with on your wedding day!!
