No matter what I say or write I will never be able to put into words how amazing having Melissa really was and is. Our venue recommended her as I was an out of state bride and needed as much help and guidance as we could get to perfect our vision. From the first email then to the first phone call her soft and welcoming tone put my mind at ease. She never pressured us into anything. We connected instantly and I loved that she had a few package options to chose from for her services. We went with a basic package but quickly I realized I needed more services and she was more than accommodating. She connected me with so many wonderful vendor options and each one we ended up with has been excellent. This should speak volumes as COVID-19 changed the wedding plans significantly. We opted this year to still be married at our venue and host a small intimate dinner with a few guests and then next year we will have a vow renewal and reception as we had planned for this year. Melissa helped me with every step of the way. When things changed she offered to handle the vendors because she knew how upset and sad we were. She checked in with me daily and not just to talk business. My micro wedding was not downplayed one bit she made me feel like it was the real deal. She made me feel special and totally forget that things were much different than we had planned. She nailed the decor and details to the dinner. It looked like something out of a magazine. All of our guests were blown away with what she designed. We can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next year!

We are so glad we hired SBM Event Co for their month of coordination. Melissa was very helpful and responsive and paired us with the perfect planner for us, Shelby. She was always available if we needed her, and was instrumental in making sure everything stayed on time and running smoothly for our wedding. She has a great personality and knew when to step in without being overbearing. She even took a flock of ducks to the face to help us get a picture with the ducks! We can't recommend Melissa and Shelby enough!

I don’t even know where to begin- there are no words to explain how amazing melissa and her team were from start to finish. From helping us understand the dos and don'ts to wedding planning, listening to us, our wants and our needs, to bringing it all together the day of…Melissa made a vision come to life, that we didn’t even know existed. She went above and beyond to make every aspect perfect. Everyone says how stressed they get leading up to the wedding- we can’t say this was the case for us. I have worked with Melissa on several occasions and each time I am amazed at the design ideas she comes up with. She is a true visionary. Melissa listens to your ideas and translate them into a setting of your dreams.

On the day she pulls an overall look together and the results are incredible. She is very easy to work with, fun but professional, which puts you to ease throughout the whole process.

I have noticed that Melissa is extremely knowledgeable about what products are available and she blends them together with current trends to give you that wow factor. On one wedding, she brought in vendors from throughout the northeast to provide the perfect items to fulfill the brides wishes.

This woman has a gift! After working with Melissa, I can tell you that she will think of everything down to the very last detail (including things that I never even thought of!) She has a really incredible eye for design, and knows how to just get things done.
