String of Pearls was the band for my Memorial Day May 28, 2018 outdoor garden boho brunch wedding! Since we love the violin and guitar instrumentals, so we hired their violin and guitar duo. Their work is highly admirable for the price. I worked with Susan, who has many decades of experience as a violinist. She is very professional and personable! She is very responsive to messages and was very easy to work with from day one and on all the details leading up to our wedding day! She is great at suggesting songs and offering feedback on the flow of songs for the procession, ceremony, and recession. I really wanted to hear Carla Bruni's song Quelqu'un m'a dit for the procession, and the duo learned it in no time. Lastly, I got married at the Woodend Nature Sanctuary in Chevy Chase, MD where the duo has experience playing there previously numerous times. Thus there was no need for a walk through given her familiarity with the venue.

Susan is an accomplished violinist with a wide range, and anyone looking for one would be in great hands with her! Book them and you will NOT be disappointed!

Highly recommend! We booked the full String Quartet for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and we were very pleased. Susan was easy to work with and the Quartet added so much to the ceremony and cocktail hour. Their rate was very competitive and we can't recommend them enough!

String of Pearls was absolutely the perfect addition to our wedding ceremony. Their musicality and professionalism were very evident throughout the process. Not only do they have an incredibly diverse profile of music they can play, they are very accommodating and responsive. They not only played classical music before, during, and after our ceremony, but they were able to throw in the James Bond theme for when our secret service ring bearer walked down the aisle (a huge hit with our guests). After the ceremony we kept hearing how wonderful they were from our guests. Would absolutely hire them again! Thank you String of Pearls!

Susan was very helpful leading up to the ceremony. They provided music for my ceremony and before when the guests entered. It was a nice touch and I'm happy I went with live music for the ceremony. They were affordable as well.

They added such a touch of class to our wedding. They were fantastic! We wish we had more time to listen to them play but they entertained our guests while we weren't there. The guests loved them.

We had a great experience working with String of Pearls. Susan was super easy to work with and provided great suggestions for the music selections. Her pricing is very reasonable. They arrived early on the day of the wedding and played beautifully!!! I am a huge fan of classical music and to have a string quartet play for my wedding ceremony was a dream come true. Susan and the other musicians from String of Pearls really made the ceremony special! They even stuck around after the ceremony and played for a little while as everyone transitioned into cocktail hour.
