Do not hesitate to choose Octa and Tia as your wedding photographers! We could not have made a better choice for our wedding photographers. The quality of there work is outstanding! We appreciate the time and sense of perfection they demonstrated in each photo!

We had a great experience with Stovila Photography! Octa and Tia were a joy to work with and they take fantastic photos (I am a professional photographer myself, so you can take my word for it). I particularly like their editing style and their composition and they're always getting really interesting shots and angles. Their edits are stylish and modern, but they're evergreen and will look great until your 50th Anniversary. You'll find yourself surprised, when looking at your photos less than a month after your wedding, that they got certain shot; my wife and I kept saying, wow, I didn't even know they were there!

I would recommend having a game plan before your wedding by listing who you would like to have shot as that gets chaotic and I had forgotten to do that. I should also mention that Stovila gives you A LOT of photos - all really great - and they won't charge you to actually keep the photos you paid for unlike some other wedding photographers we researched. They got excellent coverage and it was really nice to actually get a full scope of the wedding that we spent so much time and money to plan.

Hire them, we have no regrets about it! They took lovely engagement photos too!

Octa & Tia's story-style was a complement to our personal style: we received many (well shot, not just random) candids throughout the day of all guests, lots of pictures from our short ceremony, all of the formal shots we requested, and a good combination of close up/detail and scenic shots. Our friends are still commenting (a year later) on what great pictures we ended up with! We do not think we could have received a fraction of the quality of photos from another photographer for the same rate that they charge. They really should charge more in my opinion, but I'm sure glad they didn't!

Specific strengths of Stovila include:
- their artistic ability (seriously Octa could set up and take a single picture and it came out beautiful, even with the entire group)
- in "meeting" them a few times on Skype prior to the wedding (we were from out of town), my (type-A) comfort-level in them getting all of our shots
- fitting into the flow of the day and not being intrusive
- going above and beyond (taking "just one more" picture before they left even once they were off the clock)
- the final picture product (beautiful little gift box with a 15 minute video/slideshow of all our photos set to music, a separate disc with both the high and low resolution images, and a digital site with a log-in to share the photos with friends and family in an easy way)

Our experience with Octa and Tia was wonderful; there responsibility and creativity made our wedding a very special event. Those special moments were captured in each of the beautiful photographs that we enjoy sharing with our family and friends .

Everyone was impressed with our photographers for doing whatever it took to get the shot they wanted. Very nice and understanding of what we wanted. Didn't try to take advantage of us regarding the 'rights' of the pictures for reproduction; we have recommended them to anyone planning on getting married!
