My fiance and I were so lucky to have found Sara to take our engagement photos! Throughout the whole process she was responsive, open, and a pleasure to work with. Before meeting, we emailed back and forth coming up with ideas for locations and poses, and she always had great ideas when I ran out of them. On our scheduled day, we spent 3 hours with her taking photos in multiple locations, and she always found a great balance between letting us do our thing when we wanted, and also gently suggesting poses to us whenever we didn't know what to do. She was able to get some lovely candids in addition to the more posed shots. We also appreciated her being open to the silly shots we had in mind, including our cat and Philly sports jerseys. All of this for an insanely affordable price without sacrificing quality! And even better, we got nearly 200 photos delivered digitally within 2 weeks of the shoot. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. Sara was exactly the calming presence we needed, and her ability to put everyone at ease made for some really incredible captured moments. She was very professional, and incredible person, and a joy to have around.

Sara is nothing short of incredible. Giving her little direction as to what we wanted outside the basics, she immediately took charge from the first consultation to the last (and stealthy) shots at the airport gate headed home. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and her eye for beauty has continued to impress throughout the entire process. Sara is incredibly professional and also wonderful with people. My friends and family felt incredibly comfortable with her during some the very personal moments of getting married. Sara also did an incredible job of capturing exchanges that were meaningful and well shot. She had described this before our wedding day, but on the actual day, she seemed to be everywhere. There were lots of pictures that helped us see the whole day, rather than just the parts we experienced ourselves.

We were Married at Wellers in Saline, MI on 8/12/2017 and from my very first interaction with Sara I knew she would be the one to photograph our wedding. She was very friendly, responsive to questions and patient with our planning process. She paid attention to our requests and needs and gave light direction when needed. I am not a fan of getting my photograph taken and she made me at ease and comfortable. She never forced a photograph and just went with the flow which is what we were looking for. She fit well into our family dynamic the entire day and night and I barely noticed her taking our pictures. She made our day special and the pictures are amazing. I would recommend her highly and look forward to using her in the future.

Sara did an amazing job capturing one of the best days of our lives. Not only was she professional, she was extremely comfortable to be around. The best part about the memories that were captured that day was that they weren't staged. Sara has a great talent in capturing the special moments most would not notice. When we did have group photos that we planned on Sara knew exactly how to maneuver everyone and did so efficiently and in a way where everyone was comfortable. There were no awkward moments and that made the day that much more genuine. All of our guests complimented having her around for the day, and fun was had by all! Sara was great at keeping us in the loop throughout the whole process and had our images accessible to us in a timely fashion. I've had the pleasure to work with Sara twice: once for my Engagement photo session, and second to capture photos for my Bridal Shower with family and friends. Both times Sara was prompt to answer emails, questions, and go out of her way to help make these super memorable days happen.

We had our engagement photos taken in January (outside!! brrr) at a pine tree farm. Sara was very helpful guiding us how to pose for our pics, but also to have fun and feel natural as we took them. She took some traditional portrait style photos - but also used her artistic eye to capture some more moody/magical moments that comes from experience. Overall, we got some great shots and had a memorable time laughing in the snow. I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for a photographer who makes you feel comfortable/natural during photos - and is willing to go the extra mile (or through extra snow!) to get you some awesome photos.

We also used her for our bridal shower photos. These were non-posed lifestyle photos capturing the event - so Sara wandered through the party and captured all of the great moments as I unwrapped gifts, interacted with family, and made some memorable moments with friends. These photos were very special to me and to my ladies who put the event together. I now have a beautiful collection of photos that I will always cherish. These photos also made a good gift to my friends/family who put everything together since it documented how beautiful everything was and how hard they worked. Overall, Sara was very professional and got our photos done super fast. I'm blown away by the quality and timelines of her work.

Sara captured our wedding so perfectly it's hard to describe the love I have for her, her talent and photos taken. These photos will be part of us and our story for our whole lives.
