History

Established in 1974.

Steve Padis began his career as a jeweler during his senior year at the University of California, Berkeley, by stringing beads and selling them on Telegraph Avenue. By the time he graduated in the early 70's, he had met his future wife, Judy (from whom he purchased findings), and had ventured into sterling silver, turquoise jewelry, and gold chain.

It was not long after, in 1974, he found his true passion for precious metals & diamonds with the inception of the Steve Padis Jewelry brand, which has now grown to include four locations.

Now, some 40 years later, Steve's passion for jewelry has become his life's work. Padis Jewelry is a well-respected family-owned business operated by Steve, his wife, Judy, and their daughter, Alexis.
