We hired Stephen to play at our small wedding celebration at The Laundry Room in Fenton, MI. The entire experience was extremely positive! Stephen responded to every email quickly. He was very accommodating to all our requests and even learned some new songs at our request. He arrived at the venue early for set-up and was ready to perform a fantastic set for our guests! We received countless compliments from our guests on how great he was! He even took the time to chat with some of our friends and family. He was absolutely fantastic and a perfect addition to our celebration. We are hoping to work with Stephen again for future events. Thank you Stephen for making our wedding such a special day!

Stephen Michael was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out to him, he was very responsive and easy to communicate with. On the day of the wedding, Stephen arrived early and was ready to go well before the ceremony started. His performance during the ceremony was excellent. He brought the Jack Johnson vibe we were looking for.
Stephen sent us his whole repertoire in an easy click and submit type survey and said to add any songs we wanted that weren't on his list, so we suggested a lot of songs thinking he could choose a handful to learn, but he learned ALL of them!

We hired Stephen Michael for our wedding at The Vault in 2019 and I couldn't be happier with the experience.
He arrived early and setup quickly. Not only punctual, but was amicable, friendly, and a pleasure to talk to. He even spent some time chatting with my family and friends after he was packed up, who all said they enjoyed meeting him.
He was quick in responding to emails and texts. Once it came to picking music, Stephen sent us his repertoire - a simply click and submit list - which made it very convenient and encouraged us to make as many requests as we like. And when it came to the actual performance, Stephen did not disappoint. He is an incredible performer with a great voice, and he learned every song we asked for! about a dozen. And, his sound system sounded professional concert level quality.
Stephen played for the cocktail hour, reception, and first dance. He was easy going, but professional and attentive, and he really made our day special. He was perfect for our wedding and had a smile on his face the whole day, just a joy to be around. Overall, Stephen was a terrific addition to our wedding.
Since then we've hired Stephen a second time to come play for my parent's anniversary party in 2021 and he was even better then we remembered, and just as nice : )
